We had a wonderful time at Castle on the Mountain in Vernon. The rooms, views and service were great. We are looking forward to a return visit in the winter and to try out Silver Star for some skiing.

Positives: Cleanliness, rooms, free wifi and the breakfast is unreal!

Negatives: I have had to think hard about this and all I can say is I wish they did evening meals too. If they are half as good as the breakfast they would be wonderful. lol

Stunning views, huge breakfast and very luxurious accommodation. 5 star!!

Additional details

The Bailey Room - A well appointed ensuite Queen bedroom with modern bathroom complete with corner shower unit. The double futon in this room gives options for additional guests whilst stunning views can be enjoyed form the window seat. All bedrooms have high quality furnishings, bedding, flat screen TV, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, DVD and access to free wireless internet.

The Bastion Room - A spacious room that can be set as a King or Twin with the most fantastic views of all the B&B rooms. The large private bathroom benefits from a good sized walk in shower and is located directly outside the bedroom door. A pac and play or fold down bed can also be used in this room. All bedrooms have high quality furnishings, bedding, flat screen TV, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, DVD and access to free wireless internet.

The Brattice Room - A cozy and private Queen room located on its own at the end of the guest hallway. The large en suite comes complete with its own bathtub with shower. All bedrooms have high quality furnishings, bedding, flat screen TV, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, DVD and access to free wireless internet.

The Citadel Luxury Suite - The huge King bed, twin jetted tub, private deck and gas fire place make the Citadel the ideal honeymoon or romantic retreat. Breakfast is served in the suites very own private breakfast room at a time of your choice (between 07:30am and 09:30am) where you can enjoy marvelous views and the great Mountain Breakfast.
The suite also comes with its own private entrance, high quality furnishings, bedding, flat screen TV, satellite, DVD, access to free wireless internet, Stereo CD, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, fridge freezer, microwave oven and wet bar.
