I'd recommend it highly. A step up would be free internet access.
Positives: Location - wow! - really close to the residential harbor and Granville Island.
Negatives: Hot tub was way too hot - most folks couldn't stay in for any period of time

Very nice property, lots of amenities and nice, modern rooms.
Positives: Quick check-in, room request was granted.
Negatives: Expensive parking.

The staff were very nice and went out of their way to help me (I have 2 bad knees) and the room was small but elegant. I heard bad things about the restaurant and it was expensive so I did not eat there and had trouble finding food nearby. I did not like the location at all and felt unsafe on the street (right by converging freeways). It should not be included in the downtown category for Vancouver.
Positives: The room was great; staff excellent.
Negatives: The location was not good; should not have been in area.

This hotel's location is outside the main downtown but was satisfactory if you like to walk. It is an easy walk to Granville Island or Robeson street. Further, bus service to other areas is easily accessible. There is a fairly large number of homeless in the area so use public transportation if you go out at night unless you are familiar with the area. There was excessive room noise from the highway which was difficult to reduce. We closed the windows, pulled the curtains and turned the air conditioner fan on which helped somewhat. The room was very small but acceptable. However, the pillows were not good. We used the decorative pillows which were fine. Water pressure was unpredictable and the hot water was very hot. Maid service was ok. However, a daily request for an extra towel was ignored. Because of this experience, should I return to Vancouver.
Positives: Excellent bed, double sheeted, nicely updated room.
Negatives: Room by busy roadway, not able to reduce noise.

Positives: Location, close to Granville Island. Free newspaper.
Negatives: Water turned off in shower three times.

The hotel is lovely and you can walk everywhere. Everything inside the hotel is new and top quality. The room is furnished beautifully. The price was fantastic. The only caveat is that the room is extremely small. Probably the smallest I have been in -- however it is functional.
Positives: Its newness.
Negatives: The size of the room -- extremely small.

It was very conveniently located in Vancouver (between Granville Island and Vanier Park bridges). It was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the room was fairly cramped (was there with my spouse and one teenager) and the beds were small and the room was noisy (lots of traffic noise).
Positives: Location was convenient.
Negatives: Noisy and room was cramped.

What I got was a no frills room with a plain tub and shower. The shower adjusts temp. By itself to the point where my fiancé was almost burned. The make-up mirror fell off in my hand as I extended it from the wall. The room was also dirty.
Positives: Its location.
Negatives: Too expensive for what you get.

Good location, clean, decorated nicely and well appointed. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely be our choice for our next stay?

Negatives: None.

The room was really nice - better than I expected - and very clean, comfortable and modern. It overlooked the flyway but the staff said offered if it was too noisy, they would move me. The hotel is trying to distinguish itself from other hotels in Vancouver with a wine theme which I think works. I went to one of the complimentary wine "tasting" and they poured way more than a taste and it was a really pleasant time. The general staff was a bit stiff - not so friendly but any complaints on service. I would definitely stay there again for the value of the room and how nice it was.
Positives: The room was excellent and the wine tasting were a nice bonus.
Negatives: The hotel was under some renovations so the restaurant was not open so breakfast was a bit pathetic.

Great location, convenient parking. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Positives: The Jacuzzi tub was excellent!
Negatives: No high speed Internet access in rooms.
