My room was close to the main road and was a little loud. Could not close curtains to keep the lights at night and the sun in the morning. Overall it was a place to sleep I didn't spend much time in the room. Was happy with the refrigerator.
Positives: Fairly close to downtown.

Mixed floor smoking and nonsmoking. Rooms are nicer than public spaces. No extras.

This hotel was okay. It was a place to stay that accommodated my friends and I for a festival in Vancouver B.C. Besides the fact that we had a decent place to stay it really was not a pleasant experience. The hotel staff was completely rude, short, refused to call a cab for my party. I was told to do it myself, when the associate behind the counter was obviously not doing anything. I probably won't stay there again.
Positives: The rooms were pretty roomy.
Negatives: The staff was very unhelpful and rude.

The hotel is old, needs refurbishing. The hotel is not in the best part of Vancouver. There is a lot of street noise heard in the room.
Positives: The front office staff was outstanding.
Negatives: When I arrived the toilet seat was dirty and I had to clean it.

Hotel location is convenient and rooms are comfortable. Although “full and hot” breakfast comes with the room, there is no reason to serve such poor breakfast. The sausages were always cold, hard and the potato was not cooked. The hotel manager and the restaurant staffs are less than friendly. The star rating should be down graded to one star just for the location and rooms!!!

Nice location - grocery store nearby, and outside downtown so convenient for various locations.
Positives: Spacious rooms.
Negatives: They sell water bottles in the room - easily confused with complimentary water. Parking lot can be leveled.
