We've stayed many times and always enjoy this hotel. Great location, quiet rooms, comfy beds, nice decor.

Positives: Quiet.

Negatives: Expensive parking.

The Hyatt really knows how to take an experience up a notch. We have never been disappointed from the rooms to the staff. Great experience.

Positives: Beautiful room, modern, clean. Nice warm outdoor pool and hot tub. Awesome location.

Negatives: Nothing

Clean and comfortable rooms with excellent staff. Rooms were not as meticulously cleaned every day as in some other hotels, but it was more than adequate.

Positives: Mosaic restaurant was peaceful and the food and service was excellent.

Negatives: Parking was expensive and when we tried to leave the hotel the voucher we had been given at reception did not work to get us out of the parking lot.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 10 Nov 2011 rated 8 out of 10.

This is a fairly grand hotel centrally located with a very executive feel.

Positives: The automated check in and check out was quick and easy.

Negatives: The lack of nice dinning on site. But Vancouver has no shortage of dinning within a short walk or cab ride.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 02 Nov 2011 rated 9 out of 10.

Check the parking fees. Could be cheaper, especially on weekends to not go through the front desk, just use the kiosk.

Positives: No surprises.

Negatives: Different protocols depending who is at the front desk.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 22 Oct 2011 rated 4 out of 10.

The television was unacceptable. The savings for the hotel by including a very low resolution and very small screen television was in very poor taste.

Positives: Excellent customer service.

Negatives: Very small television.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The rooms were nicely decorated with comfortable beds and the gym/hot tub /outdoor pool was nice.

Positives: The staff were all great.

Negatives: The pillows were too small and soft for my liking.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 13 Sep 2011 rated 10 out of 10.

Very comfortable, well appointed with helpful staff and really good location.

Positives: Staff were exceptional friendly and helpful.

Negatives: Price of parking-price of Internet(used Starbucks service).

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 09 Sep 2011 rated 10 out of 10.

The hotel itself is beautiful. From the time we stepped out of the cab we were greeted with a friendly, smiling staff member. The only issue we had was at check in. The person who checked us in was not very friendly and acted as if she could care less if we were there or not. Once we checked in however, the mood changed as our luggage was taken to our room by a staff person that more than made up for the desk person. He was very friendly, gave us great information on the area as far as dining and places to go. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.

Positives: Location and quality of accommodations.

Negatives: Some of the staff were not as friendly as others-check in was as if it was a bother.

Beautiful, comfortable modern room in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Windows overlooking streets provided great people watching. Parked our car in the underground parking garage and walked all over downtown, including the waterfront.

Positives: Beautiful room, in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Negatives: Coffee maker only made one cup of coffee.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 19 Aug 2011 rated 9 out of 10.

I really like this hotel for the location and quality. It is very close to public transportation and walking distance to downtown attractions. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The downside is you have to pay extra to upgrade from 2 double to 1 king bed. Also there is no free internet in the room, so you have to buy a coffee downstairs at Starbucks to use their wifi.
Positives: Great location and comfortable bed.

Negatives: No microwave and no free internet in room. Cost extra to get king instead of 2 double.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 18 Aug 2011 rated 10 out of 10.

The only complaint that I have is for a hotel of this quality to attempt extracting a few more dollars for their Internet is irritating and unacceptable. Everything else is top of the line. We would go to it again.

Positives: The overall appearance, location and bellman!

Negatives: They tried to charge me for wireless Internet, bad.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 18 Aug 2011 rated 9 out of 10.

Liked hotel. We will stay there again.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Style very simple.

Nice hotel. Good location.

Positives: Good location.

Negatives: Expensive parking.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 01 Aug 2011 rated 8 out of 10.

The hotel exceeded my expectations when it came to the facilities and room. Very modern design and well-appointed rooms. My only complaint was that parking was expensive ($38 for 24 hrs) and room service was ridiculously expensive. As well, the room was a little noisy - nothing the hotel could do about the sirens late at night, but the air conditioner had a high-pitched sound when it was on. Having said all of that, I still enjoyed my stay, the staff were excellent and I would stay here again.

Positives: The hotel and rooms are upscale and well appointed. I was very happy with the room and the price!

Negatives: While the room was a great deal, parking and room service were insanely expensive!

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 31 Jul 2011 rated 4 out of 10.

Hot tub was delightful! Rooms and beds were comfortable. Walls seemed to be a little thin if their are noisy neighbors. Lovely hotel with entry right into a little mall that has shops for basic needs.

Positives: Great location and friendly, helpful staff.

Negatives: On two different stays, neighbors were very noisy in the middle of the night. Security had to come.

Enjoyed the stay at this hotel especially for the price.

Positives: Location and the modern decor.

Negatives: Parking price.
We thought how nice this will be a wonderful trip to Vancouver. It was not. They up sold us to a room which we thought was going to be nice and quite. Nope. It was under the executive floor lounge so it was noisy at old times for cleaning. Like 10pm at night and 6 am in the morning. We have 2 small children this was really hard for us with all the noise. They asked if we needed help with our bags upon check in but when I answered yes there was no response. Same with valet. And forget someone opening a door for you. There were staff outside but not sure what they were actually there for it was not to help. The beds are horrible too. They are hard and so are the pillows. Not luxury at all. The Sutton place or any Fairmont are much better value for service. The rooms are nice however and really clean. The pool how ever was not clean. Would not take our kids in after seeing all the stuff floating in it. Over three dirty bandages. Yuck! But is you want a hotel room for yourself in a good location and you dont care about services this a good option. 4 star is a over rating for this property.

Positives: Location was good.

Negatives: Beds are bad. The services like valet and bellmen are poor poor poor. No door men. And it is a noisy hotel.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 10 Jul 2011 rated 6 out of 10.

The room was unimpressive for a hotel of this star rating. The restaurant was bad. Menu was unimaginative for the caliber of hotel and the decor looked like it was from a Holiday Inn - not a Hyatt. On several occasions the front desk staff gave us inaccurate info which ended up costing us a lot of extra money. I would have rather just paid the going rate at the Pan Pacific. Not staying here again.

Positives: Location

Negatives: Parking rates were poorly described and inaccurate info provided by front desk. Of course this means we ended paying way more than what they had said.

Love this hotel, have stayed before and the views are incredible, no matter where you look. We paid additional
for a balcony, very worth it!

Positives: Staff is incredibly helpful and nice, and Starbucks on ground floor!

Negatives: Coffee maker and supplies were poor (but there's a Starbucks downstairs). Ice maker far away, put a few more on a few more floors.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 03 Dec 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

Location is fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and willing to help. Rooms are spacious, clean and have suitable amenities. Bathroom is good, but would benefit from a stand alone shower. On site restaurants are good. If you get a good rate, the comfort and location would be hard to beat.

Positives: Location, amenities close by, good rooms.

Negatives: Shower over tub, no drawers in bathroom.

I arrived at the hotel, and immediately the doorman had my bags on a cart and was politely calling me by my surname. The cleaning staff were professional and flexible. The service was a step above the usual, and the rooms were large, clean and modern.

Positives: The doorman remembered my name for the entire stay.

Negatives: Internet is very expensive and slow.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 18 Nov 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

Overall, it is a good hotel. I enjoyed staying with my family.

Positives: Good room size and good location.

Negatives: Woke up by next door with very loud voices..

The hotel was a perfect home away from home. The staff had great recommendation and were very helpful.

Positives: The view from the hotel was fantastic! The hotels location was central to all the events I had planned.

Negatives: Nothing

Nice big rooms, quick service & friendly. Good location. Good sized balcony.

Positives: Very friendly staff with quick check-in & check-out. Very accommodating to give rooms we wanted.

Negatives: Need to vacuum between connecting rooms (doorway) defrost fridge & clean otherwise clean.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 16 Nov 2010 rated 7 out of 10.

Overall clean, contemporary, stylish place with nice beds and courteous staff. Centrally located within walking distance to nightlife and restaurants. The biggest downside to travelers is the lack of a complimentary ($15) internet access and the minimum $24 per night parking fee, which was more expensive during the week.

Positives: Clean and updated nicely..

Negatives: Nickel & Dime customers with exorbitant prices on internet access and parking.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 11 Nov 2010 rated 6 out of 10.

Good hotel but there is always a charge for a king bed. They claim a standard king isn't available and they have to upgrade to a view room or suite to have a King bed. Seems very odd.

Positives: Convenient location, very clean.

Negatives: We always have to pay an upgrade to have a room with king or queen bed.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 10 Nov 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

Great hotel for the Priceline price we got. Amenities were lovely. Parking really expensive, but it was close to other local parking for less.

Positives: Great location for walking to local attractions.

Negatives: Parking was crazy expensive.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 25 Oct 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

The hotel is clean and modern. A great location close to shopping and downtown core. Recommendations on their new electronic check-in and check-out would not be favorable.

Positives: The location was convenient and the rooms were clean and well appointed.

Negatives: The Check-in and Check-out was all automatic without a clerk. Did not get full bill and nobody available to assist. Parking was too expensive $52.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 18 Oct 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

Clean, high-end convention style hotel.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Windows don't open.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 15 Oct 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

The hotel is a great choice for traveler who has no previous experience in Vancouver. It is centrally located.

Positives: Good location and friendly staff at the front desk. Very helpful.

Negatives: Internet is not free and the outdoor swimming pool is not inviting. The appearance of the pool is too utilitarian. The atmosphere is designed to be you.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 15 Oct 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

It's a nice hotel and you get a clean, modern room. The Internet costs money though and I was hoping the TV's would be bigger than 32" for a 4 star.

Positives: Clean, elegant and

Negatives: No free Internet, wasn't given queen or king bed requested even when I checked in at 2 pm.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 14 Oct 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

We liked the friendly and professional staff at this hotel. The public spaces and rooms have been renovated and are very modern and beautiful.

Positives: Staff treated us very well. They were very professional.

Negatives: Parking is a bit run down.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 04 Oct 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

We were given a high room with a great view. The room was very clean and large. It was a great location for our purposes - going on a cruise. We walked our luggage to the cruise port since it's down hill all the way. Since it's out of the USA it would be nice if they offered free WiFi. It's possible to find free WiFi at some Starbucks but it would be a huge convenience if the hotel didn't charge for it.

Positives: Convenient to cruiseport.

Negatives: No free WiFi.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 04 Oct 2010 rated 1 out of 10.

Nasty staff, clean room, very tiny, no free internet, don't have a knowledge of what to do locally or don't care enough to help you.

Positives: Room was clean.

Negatives: Staff is obnoxious, never took basic consumer relations workshop.

Beautiful hotel! The balcony room was gorgeous. The staff was helpful and friendly. We would love to plan another trip and would stay there!

Positives: All staff went above and beyond.

Negatives: The restaurant was close for renovations.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 23 Sep 2010 rated 7 out of 10.

The room is awesome.
However, some staff at the registration is not helpful. I first checked it at 3 pm. A staff said it's too early, not all the rooms (I reserved 3 rooms) can be at the same level. If we check in at 4 pm, she would mark it on her system and should be okay. When I come back sharp at 4 pm, I checked in with another staff, she gave me 3 rooms at different level.

Positives: The room is nice, clean, neat, and stylish.

Negatives: Some staff is not helpful.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 23 Sep 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

Great deal in Vancouver.

Positives: Perfect location, great rooms, excellent experience! Would go back again!

Negatives: The outside front entrance could have been nicer and easier to find.

Positives: Convenient location; spacious & clean room.

Negatives: Bathroom lighting was underpowered.

Loved the whole experience. Hotel should consider including free internet and lower the daily parking rate to $15.00 a day.

Positives: Great experience and friendly staff and great location. Incredible price! Thanks Priceline.

Negatives: The parking was overpriced $37.00 a day and no free internet.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 09 Jul 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was modernly designed. It was in the good downtown area close to many attractions.

Positives: Design was very up to date.

Negatives: No free breakfast.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 25 May 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

Exceeded my expectations in everyway. Always felt welcome and well-treated in spite of having paid less than half price for our room. Forget about the business-class restaurant, with its $25 breakfast buffet.

Positives: Great views from floor - ceiling windows.

Negatives: Room in black-gray-white is rather stern, could use a bit of color.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 23 May 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

For the price the rooms we had were excellent thought the decor was a bit to severely contemporary. The cleaning staff is hooked on using an excessive amount of Fe breeze-type chemicals to deodorize the rooms. Offensive to the eyes and nose and no opening windows to clear the air. I asked for a room with a balcony and the staff up-graded us for free. Very much better! I gave up on using my computer. The connection was slower than dial-up. A call to their tech support made no difference. The appearance of the hotel is fairly ugly, old 70s style concrete. Also as it is a very large hotel, sometimes even with 5 elevators the ride up or down was a challenge with so many people and so many floors.

Positives: Good location. Friendly & helpful staff, reasonably quiet.

Negatives: Terrible, incredibly expensive parking, No free internet. Internet connection was terrible.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 21 May 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

Great hotel, well located downtown, clean, modern, efficient, upscale, & convenient.

Overall, great experience. Traveled with wife and two kids, 5 & 7. Great locations, close to food, shopping, and tourist points. The concierge was knowledgeable and the hotel was very friendly and accommodating.

Positives: Room was magnificent, concierge was incredible.

Negatives: Card key to use elevator, ice machine on 4th floor only, having to pay for Internet.

This hotel was great and close to shopping, etc. The overall luxuriousness was not quite on par with other hotels I've stayed at.

Positives: The location, proximity to ocean and Stanley Park.

Negatives: Construction did not permit easy parking and access.

The Hyatt was clean, luxurious in some ways, staff was excellent, and it was located between the cruise ships and many other attractions. Also all the major sight-seeing tours stopped directly at this hotel so it made touring very simple.

Positives: Centrally located and the staff was wonderful.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The hotel has undergone a $20 million renovation. The room decor is beautiful, very modern. We had a 25th floor view room with wall to wall, ceiling to floor windows. It was so fantastic, that we bought dessert and coffee and brought it to enjoy the view from our room. Front desk staff were excellent and greeted us by name.

Positives: Very modern decor, excellent location, superior staff.

Negatives: Nothing.

The hotel was well located and had great rooms. As a Priceline customer, I did send an email to the hotel requesting a king bed nonsmoking. We were celebrating our anniversary. When we checked in we were upgraded to an upper floor facing the harbor. We got to see our ship come in. Best of all there was a fabulous corner balcony overlooking the city at night- stunning!

Positives: The location and the staff were great.

Negatives: I can't think of anything at all.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 09 Sep 2009 rated 8 out of 10.

I liked this hotel. I would have loved it if the amenities didn't cost extra!

Positives: The decor was beautifull!

Negatives: There is a fee for everything. Fee for parking, business center, no free continental breakfast.

This was a great hotel. From the moment we arrived everything seemed to be taken care of. Our rooms were great and the views from the big windows were excellent. It was close walking distance to shops in downtown Vancouver.

Positives: Clean atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent rooms, and beautiful views.

Negatives: None.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 09 Sep 2009 rated 9 out of 10.

Nice rooms, a pleasant stay. Some rooms have a balcony and we got one which added to the space and experience. Because of its central location, some traffic noise comes with the great location. Staff was helpful.

Positives: Located in the centre of things.

Negatives: Parking is expensive.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 05 Sep 2009 rated 10 out of 10.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. We arrived very late and were upgraded to a fantastic suite. Although we had to move for the second night, we still got an above average room with a balcony, and the move was painless. In view of the low rate we were paying, we were treated extremely well. The staff was efficient and very friendly.

Positives: Upgraded to suite on 1st night - outstanding room. Second night room still above minimum standard (balcony/king bed)

Negatives: We would have liked a free shuttle to the pier which was very close.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 04 Sep 2009 rated 10 out of 10.

Perfect location - very clean, great food and
great staff.

Positives: Everything.

Negatives: Nothing comes to mind.
