Other than the carpet being dirty, the hotel was nice, and we had a wonderful view.
Positives: The views from the room were spectacular and location was ideal.
Negatives: The carpet in the room needed a good cleaning.

Over all a nice hotel. Room was comfortable and it was a good location. The North Tower of the hotel is the tower with all amenities and luxuries. We were
not placed in the North Tower, so the over all ambiance of the hotel was severely diminished.
Positives: Nice location.
Negatives: Was not put in the North Tower which is definitely the tower for which this hotel received it's star rating.

If you are traveling to Vancouver in a car do
not stay in this hotel. The parking cost is insane!
Positives: Very nice view of North Vancouver.
Negatives: Parking cost an additional $40.00 dollars a night at the hotel underground parking.

Central location with plenty of cabs available. Rooms was clean and quite fair for the price we paid for it.
A good choice of restaurants in the area. Ideal for business travelers.
Positives: The hotel was centrally located for our purposes, clean with comfortable beds and a green option and the coffee was good.
Negatives: The curtains could not be opened and why have bottle water and charge $4.50 for each if used.

I recommend this hotel to travelers. It is close to Canada line, Pacific Center and downtown core of Vancouver. The pool is great if traveling with children.
Positives: Excellent location and the rooms were very comfortable.
Negatives: Parking too expensive.

Hotel was comfortable, but not worthy of a 4-star rating. Room was very small, with only one desk chair available. On the 17th floor, we expected a fabulous view, but the drapery rods did not function well; in fact, we think one of them was broken, which made it difficult to open the drapes to enjoy the view. Very poor (tiny) public area in lobby.
Positives: Comfortable bed and pillows.
Negatives: Human hairs were not cleaned out of bathroom sink.

The rooms where small the bathroom needed a paint job. Restaurant was good but very expensive for you received. Great location.
Positives: The staff was great.
Negatives: Parking was $45 per night.

I did not feel safe leaving the hotel in the evenings, too many people in the area lurking around. That made dining in the evenings impossible as the indigo restaurant was not available for some reason. The lounge in the next tower was nice and the staff was wonderful.
Positives: The rooms were clean and updated.
Negatives: One restaurant was not available and the other was always full.

If you have to stay in Vancouver, this is the place to stay. Doesn't matter what room you get because they are all wonderful. The amenities are excellent and the location is right in the middle of everything!
Positives: Great room and location. Can't express how much I loved it!
Negatives: The valet parking price is quite high, but where isn't it.

Very nice hotel, centrally located, with helpful staff. Between our two families, we had troubles such as an early arrival, a late arrival, lost luggage, business service needs (computers and Fax), and transfers to a cruise trip. Hotel staff cheerfully helped us with all these issues. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although not overly large. Fridge in room was a big plus. Pool area was very clean, although not very large.
Positives: Friendly staff, excellent computer/business services.
Negatives: Lobby was small and often very crowded.

Overall it exceeded our expectations.
Positives: Upgraded our room for 25th annivarsary at no cost. Computer use.
Negatives: Could not get the AC to work correctly/promptly.

What a wonderful hotel for a remarkable price! We stayed on the 26th floor. Amazing views, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and great pool for the kids.
Positives: Great location, amazing views and the price was right!
Negatives: Concierge closes at 7:00.

This hotel was really very good with helpful and friendly staff. The beds are super comfortable with lots of warm blankets and pillows. Nice bathroom and spacious rooms. The only things that I didn't like were: The price for parking a vehicle is outrageous.
Positives: Comfortable beds and lots of blankets.
Negatives: Parking price was outrageous. Rooms were not soundproofed at all. Very loud in the morning.

A very nice hotel. The beds were comfortable with great pillows. It was quiet and easy to sleep. Some observations on the negative side: A few cleanliness issues that should be addressed such as leaving used soap in the bathrooms (and no new soap). The toilet stopped working in my bathroom at a certain point. The elevators were super annoying. Everytime you got into the elevator you would find someone else trapped trying to get to their floor. The security readers in the elevators did not reliably read the room cards.
Positives: The location of the hotel was excellent. It was very quiet in the hotel room and facilities were good.
Negatives: Many people were riding up and down in the elevators trying to get to their room because the room cards tended not to work in the elevator at first.

Excellent location and competent service are the benefits to travellers. Rooms are very good, although not outstanding when compared to more-modern hotels.
Positives: Excellent location; great view.
Negatives: Expensive for parking, can be long wait to get car; a bit outdated.

Very nice, fairly new hotel in a great area of town. It is within walking distance of all the major shopping, dining and tourist areas.
Positives: Location was great and rooms were very nice.
Negatives: The charge for parking and internet - a lot!

Location is great and if you get a room in a double-digit floor facing north the view is fabulous (helped by the large full-wall window. Our room was well-equipped and tastefully decorated but it was a bit too small. Great for a couple wanting to enjoy sunsets or sunrises.
Positives: Amazing view of the downtown/ocean/mountains. Great location.
Negatives: Room was fine but a bit small. Parking too expensive.

I would imagine it great for the non-budget business traveler. However, as a 'discount break' hotel through Priceline it came with too many expensive hidden extras that took the edge off our stay there.
Positives: Location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff and location.
Negatives: High extra costs and lack of flexibility over food in restaurant, etc.

The Sheraton Wall Centre is a beautiful hotel, with many amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. From check in to check out, it was a great experience.

Negatives: There really wasn't anything I didn't like.

Has some elements of a luxury hotel, but needs a little sprucing up to be luxury.
Positives: Fabulous views, good room design and amenities.
Negatives: Room needed painting.

I do like this hotel. It is one of the first choices for me for downtown Vancouver - interestingly-shaped rooms, friendly staff, excellent location.
Positives: Everything; very good for working, which I always need to do. Good air quality.
Negatives: Small and busy fitness center; not surprising.
Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 09 Apr 2009 rated 8 out of 10.
Disappointing considering it is a 5-star hotel. I expected to be serviced more, but it is self-serve or incredibly expensive. It's clean and attractive, but not what you'd expect for 5-star. No frills, no extras and not even breakfast included, plus an extremely overpriced mini bar.
Positives: The spacious rooms.
Negatives: Impersonal staff as it is much self-automated hotel.
Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 06 Apr 2009 rated 7 out of 10.
No free internet, you must pay for parking, and rooms were quite small. The decor gave the appearance of a once-trendy spot but now seems a little over-used. Two redeeming factors: great view and
great location.
Positives: Great location!
Negatives: Looked like it used to be high-end but is now going downhill.

For a Sheraton Hotel I was extremely pleased with the front desk staff. The norm for Sheraton at check in is generally a process.
The staff was gracious and made me feel comfortable and welcome versus going through the corporate process which was a nice change.
Positives: The view from the hotel was amazing!
Negatives: Only one comfortable chair to sit in.

This is a great hotel for business, families, a girl friends' getaway and even for couples (although there are more romantic hotels). The room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. I loved the bed! It is very well located, close to Yale town, Robson Street, other shopping areas, a cinema and good restaurants. The staff was good, some being exceptional, except for one staff member noted above. The bartender/waiter in the lobby bar was a one man show - and he was ever good at efficiently making the drinks, serving them promptly and being very charming to everyone in the bar.
Positives: I loved shape of room, very comfortable bed, cleanliness of room, location of hotel.
Negatives: One of the clerks at check-in was consistently unfriendly.

This hotel was awesome. I don't stay in many top-notch hotels, so don't have much to compare to, but this one was spectacular. The staff was helpful and polite. Everything was clean and new. The elevators were super-fast. The huge windows were awesome. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked like it might be fancy and pricey. The location was good. I had never been to Vancouver before. We made the mistake of walking north to Davie street to explore. Davie street is kind of run-down. The smart move is to walk south to Robson street. Robson has tons of nice restaurants and shops, and is only 2 blocks away. We took a cab from the cruise ship terminal and it cost about Canadian $7 (plus tip). The cab to the airport was about Canadian $28 (plus tip). The Vancouver Trolley stops right in front of the hotel if you want to take a 2-hour tour of Vancouver. The trolley sold a 2-day hop-on/hop-off ticket for $35. If you have never been to Vancouver, I recommend this trolley to see what is in town.
Positives: Beautiful room with huge windows and great view.
Negatives: Expensive.

Great location, pricey for the accommodations. Poor layout of the towers.
Positives: Nice staff.
Negatives: Disjointed layout which is difficult to navigate in the dark.

The hotel is clean with friendly and helpful staff. The location is good for shopping and site seeing with many transportation choices available right outside the door. The rooms were small and average and needs a microwave, but the beds are very comfortable. There is also no area to utilize to get freshened up other than the bathroom which makes it hard if there is more than one person at times. overall we give it 3 stars.
Positives: The beds were very comfortable compared to most and a lot of pillows were available.
Negatives: There wasn't a microwave in room.
Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 28 Mar 2008 rated 9 out of 10.
This hotel is affordable and luxurious at the same time. The Starbucks down stairs is a necessary convenience.
Positives: The staff was great!
Negatives: Far walk from Gastown.

It was a very nice hotel and the staff was great, but I would not stay in corner room again because its nothing special.
Positives: Hotel was clean and easy to get to.
Negatives: I think that the room was overpriced for what you got.
