Park is closed. The Rotary has closed the park to all new campers. I am sorry for any inconvience that this might cause.

I am sure the person who reviewed this park on 5/25/2010 must have arrived after a bad rain or it was early in the summer travel season. We find this park to be very close to downtown and much less expensive than the bigger RV park along the highway. The bath house is the cleanest we have ever encountered, even after many have used the showers.
After exploring other RV parks in the area, we decided to stay for 2 weeks at Rotary Park, instead of moving on.
Positives: Management and all staff are very helpful, kind and friendly.
Price per night.
Flexibilty on holding and changing sites.
Level sites with good voltage on 30-amp electrical outlets.
Negatives: Like all RV parks in the area, there are some dirt roads.

Our experience with the rotary campground was the worst ever encountered. The grounds were a mess from lack of drainage ditches, poorly gravelled pads with unkept lawns and holes from power installations. Large ruts and potholes on all the campground roads.
Frankly I am surprised that the "Rotary" would have their name attached to such a dissappoinment. Every other rotary park i have attended has always been exemplary and well cared for except the Ft. McMurry site.
