Our oceanfront property, beautifully restored historic sea captain's home B&B, and our cottages on the Canso peninsula are the perfect places for your Canadian vacation this year.

Foxberry by the sea offers accommodation within the renovated sea captain's home or in one of our three ocean view cottages. The house contains a shared bath, and three guest rooms, each with a large double bed, (two of which feature ocean views). Fall asleep to the sound of the tides then start your day off right with a full complimentary breakfast served hot every morning.

We stayed at Foxberry while attending Stanfest in Canso. That meant wandering back to the B&B in the wee hours. The host and other guests were always gracious and in good humor. The property was spotless, even allowing for shared bathroom in the B&B.

Positives: The old home is lovely and our hostess, Linda, was wonderful. The owners history in the area is a major plus; along with having some of the talent from the festival (Jimmy Flynn) as other guests.

Negatives: If you are not local fishcakes for breakfast were...challenging. Options were offered, however.
