It is proudly home to the Acoustic Maritime Music Festival, a four day event, held annually on the third weekend in July.

Peterson's Campground is one of the very few nature camping facilities in the province!

We offer one of the finest, million dollar views of the Minas Basin along the highway 215 East.

Our facility is home to Kempt Shore Festivals. The finest singer/ songwriter venue this area has to offer. Visit our website to see the Acoustic Maritime Music Festival. People come from as far away as Mexico, B.C.,Florida annually for this event. It has grown to become a vacation destination for many. Great people, volunteers, and wonderful atmosphere make this place so worth the visit.
