Carolines Bed and Breakfast in Dartmouth was a real gem for just $50 per night.
Positives: Close to Metro X bus hub in Dartmoputh. Just a 5 minute walk to the bus depot. This gives close access to downtown Halifax and the airport. Parking available on site.
Extremely clean and very private.
Negatives: Victoria street fairly busy street so traffic noise may bother.

This is the 5th time since 2001 my wife & I have stayed at Caroline's B&B. Wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else.
Positives: Location is excellent. Home is very neat 7 clean. Excellent value.
Negatives: Victoria street can be a bit busy at times & is quite narrow so backing out of the driveway can be a bit tricky.

We were in Nova Scotia for the Tall ships Regatta and stayed at Caroline's Bed and Breakfast.The Hostess was very friendly and accomodating- the breakfasts were terrrific- very filling and a really good selection of breakfast cereals and fruit bowls.
Rooms were very clean and neat and the downstairs rooms shared a common bathroom. Lots of hot water and the home decor was clean and tasteful. She had an amazing entry way done out of pebbles collected from around the areas water ways. and the living room wall was also done this way. Truly a labour of love.
the breakfast area was a good size and comfortably sat 6 people.
Would gladly stay there in a minute if I should ever get lucky enought to be in Nova Scotia again. Thank-you Caroline for a wonderful stay.
