David and Meike made me feel like I was a member of their family. David is full of jokes and Meike has a gallery on the property with all sorts of beautiful work. I was served a sumptuous breakfast and met a famous artist who was staying there as well. They have the best window seat for reading in the upstairs hallway and I woke at dawn for a moment to see the sun rise over the ocean - right across the road!
