This experience was a huge disappointment! It was a nice and remote location on Bear River, but the description provided online was very inaccurate. My family and I reserved two cabins for approximately $50/night. When we arrived they charged us $90/night without contacting us to let us know that they changed ownership and that the prices had increased. It advertises as having a kitchenette, but there was nothing to cook on, no sink, a keurig coffee maker without any pods or coffee cups, and we had to pay "rent" mismatched and incomplete dish sets and soap. We had to wash our dishes in the bathroom and the rented dishes didn't even include bowls. The furniture was dirty and falling apart. My mattress was sliding off the box spring and the headboard was haphazardly leaning against the wall. Unattached. I was molested by the springs in the mattress and the sheets didn't fit properly. Staff described that the furniture was "vintage". The wifi worked 50 percent of the time. The cabin seemed to have areas where bugs could come in because in one night, there were 6 earwigs, 3 unidentified bugs, and several spiders. The staff was very kind, but I felt terrible that they had to deal with all of the complaints from other guests without any authority to rectify any issues we had. The worst part is that the new owner Ryan was impossible to get a hold of, so we couldn't even cancel our reservations there. When I FINALLY got a hold of him, he said that he would review the situation and get back to us, but we never heard from him. It had the potential to be a great stay had they described it more accurately so that we can better prepare ourselves. We recommend that you bring full camping equipment if you plan to stay here because Ryan did mention that they will be charging for sheets, propane and dishes. I would suggest that you clarify in detail exactly what will be included in your stay!
