We were pleased to stay there, as it was convenient to everything and the quality was acceptable. For the price, it would have been nice to have access to the locked kitchenette or to have the option of just using a fridge.
Positives: Helpful staff, good to have laundry, and room pretty spacious.
Negatives: Pool was cold (!), jacuzzi not hot enough, no fridge unless you pay $20 extra per night.

My over all experience was good. The staff where always there when needed and if you had questions or problems they were prompt and Egor to help you in any which way. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Positives: Clean, Quite, good location and a affordable too.
Negatives: Not much parking when the hotel is busy.

Grounds and common rooms were clean and cared about, the Staff at the front desk needs customer relations lessons, coming in they never said hello and everytime I walked up to the desk it seemed that neither person wanted to help. The staff was the only bad part of the experience.
Positives: Very comfortable room, did not hear anyone else.
Negatives: The staff did not say hello, almost like they didn't want to talk to us.

We were very happy with the QV and will stay again. The location was perfect, pool and hot tub area had a wonderful shower area. The rooms were beautiful. A softer bed would have made our experience a ten rating.
Positives: The hotel lobby and rooms are beautiful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was excellent. The parking fee was very reasonable.
Negatives: We wished for chairs or bench around the pool so we could sit and watch the kids. The beds were a little too firm.

The Queen Victoria has a great location near the water and all downtown attractions and conveniences that Victoria has to offer. The rooms are clean, attraction, and decent sized. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay there again.
Positives: Excellent central location in downtown Victoria.
Negatives: Indoor pool could have been a little warmer, but overall it was fine.

We recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a refreshing get away. The room and bath were clean and well appointed, like you would expect in Victoria. The staff was very helpful and the food at the hotel on site was the best. We ate there both nights. The location is also the best, across the street from the History museum and parks and 1 block from the wharf.
Positives: Beautifully appointed room and lobby, excellent restaurant, best location.
Negatives: Liked everything.

Great value and location. Good for our family and spaghetti factory is right across the street.
Positives: Great location, fun pool for kids, bring life jacket for non-swimmers!
Negatives: Our maid was quit so our room didn't get cleaned until 3:00 pm.

The room and hotel is nothing spectacular. The main advantage is that it is within walking distance of the tourist attractions.
Positives: Very convenient location - within walking distance to local tourist attractions.
Negatives: Parking is terrible and spaces are tight. You also have to pay for parking.

The hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a convenient affordable yet very clean and friendly place to stay. Couldn't beat the location.
Positives: Clean, affordable, fantastic location, while not a 4 or 5 star hotel the level of professional and qualified and friendly staff was excellent.
Negatives: Not enough parking.

Pleasant staff, excellent location, reasonable parking ($4 per day). Slightly pricy, bit we'd stay there again.
Positives: Location, good bed, nice balcony.
Negatives: Kitchen was available but locked, could be opened for $20 daily fee.

Only steps away from the Inner Harbor, close to the legislative building, and a few mere blocks from local restaurants and pubs. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wishes to visit Victoria. Everything was in walking distance!
Positives: Location, amenities, decor, friendly staff, cleanliness.
Negatives: Not applicable.

Nice staff, clean, nice hotel for cheap.
Positives: Great location, we didn't move our car for our trip we just walked everywhere.
Negatives: The pool could have been a bit warmer, most hotels keep indoor pool a few notches hotter.

Have eaten at Samuel's Restaurant several times and have thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I would never stay at the hotel again. Bed the worst; hard, uncomfortable (the hide-a-bed was probably worth sleeping on). Bed and breakfast package (misleading). If you stay at the hotel why additional parking cost? Very disappointing.
Positives: Very central to Downtown/shopping, park and walk.
Negatives: Bed was the worst, hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable.

Great location and very clean. Workout room and pool are high quality. Room fixtures were above average and I'll stay there again. The only downside was the bed and sheets. They need to be replaced.
Positives: Nice workout and pool facility.
Negatives: The beds and blankets were poor quality.

Ice machines and pop machines are on different floors. Service was very good. Room neat and clean. Hall carpets need an update.
Positives: The restaurant was very good!
Negatives: New carpet is needed in the halls, which are narrow.

A good value.
Positives: Competent, efficient staff; well located; well priced.
Negatives: The mattress could have been better.

It's close to Victoria's highlights. For a jog or fitness walk, Beacon Hill Park and bungalow-filled neighborhoods are right out the door. The Royal B.C. Museum, Parliament buildings, and Inner Harbor are within a couple blocks. This is great for those of us who come on foot off the Port Angeles ferry!
Positives: Located very near the Royal B.C. Museum and the Parliament buildings, yet with the feel of an established, leafy neighborhood.
Negatives: Coffee mate for the in-room coffee? Would like half-and-half, or lobby coffee with cream!

The quality of the room was excellent, although a little small. The location was good. Would stay there again.
Positives: Quality and upkeep was excellent.
Negatives: The room was a little small. Didn't like the ledge to the balcony.

The hotel was very nice. Once again the thing that made it outstanding for us was Brad, the Bellman. He remembered our names, he helped when we needed to store luggage, change rooms, he offered to give a ride if we needed it. It was that level of attention that made our stay special. We always felt like Brad 'had our back' and would help us out with whatever problem we might have.
Positives: Brad, the bellman (and jack of all trades) was always there to help us out, with a room change, a ride whatever we needed.
Negatives: A little pricey, but a great location.
