Excellent hotel. It is a little far out of the shopping area so the shuttle is a very important amenity for going out shopping and or in the evenings to restaurants, theaters etc. They really need to get their act together for this service. Especially since it rains alot in Vancouver and no one wants to be standing on the wrong corner waiting for the shuttle and then miss it.

Positives: Great beds and linens.

Negatives: Hotel staff did not know enough about the schedule and pick up locations of the shuttle to downtown. Also the shuttle should run to at least 8 pm.

Lovely location, lovely rooms, lovely to have nice robes and good bedding but poor valet organization for pick up

Positives: We really enjoyed the view from our room.

Negatives: Very poor valet service next morning, didn't even have our keys pulled out and we waited and waited.

I have visited it several times and it always exceeds my expectations. My husband and step daughter had never been to Vancouver before and were so thrilled with the accommodations and the area. So lovely!

Positives: Bed was so comfortable, staff was friendly, and the close location to the Aquarium, restaurants, and waterfront was perfect.

Negatives: Expensive parking.

Over all a great experience. Staff was helpful and friendly. Super comfy bed. Wish there was a bath tub. Definitely recommend. Very clean and very safe.

The location is wonderful. A short walk to restaurants and shopping. Near Stanley Park. The customer service was exceptional. Priceline guests appear to be valued here. Harbour view rooms afford spectacular views.

Positives: Exceptional customer service. Stellar views.

Negatives: Dated exterior, Internet fees.

We were upgraded, had a magnificent view of the harbor, the window opened to fresh sea air. The entire staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Used luxury robes to go to the spacious round pool that large enough to swim laps. Bedding was top of the line.

Positives: Crisp, well decorated, clean, and location was perfect.

Negatives: Nothing...we loved it!

The hotel location is great, the room was clean and generally met our standards. They offered a lovely little "kids pack" upon arrival with rubber ducky, band aids, outlet covers, and a night light. That being said, I wouldn't describe the Westin as particularly "kid friendly". Although they didn't come right out and say it

Positives: The location is great.

Negatives: Not enough staff at front desk/ concierge meant long waits.

Rooms were clean and very comfortable, location was lovely and right on the water! Soaps and shampoos were lovely. Starbucks on in the lobby.

Positives: The beds were awesome!

Negatives: Exterior of building very dirty and worn out, also lots of construction noise outside window at hotel.

Excellent downtown location, modern, beautiful, and friendly staff!

Positives: Beautiful grounds, open spaces, comfortable bed, and nice water view.

Negatives: Dark decor in hallways, elevator to pool access was closed.

We really enjoyed the Westin Bayshore. It is right on the water and Stanley park, with absolutely beautiful views, but would reconsider staying again at a hotel that charges $36.00 + tax for overnight parking.

Positives: Luxurious bed linens, impeccable cleanliness, and

Negatives: Parking fee of $36.00 plus tax for 24 hours in garage - EXORBITANT.

Nice hotel.

Positives: Nice beds and linen.

Negatives: Walls had stains on them and hotel parking and Internet were not included in the price.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The pool looked lovely, but it was not warm enough to swim outside (will surely return in the summer). Worked too much to fully enjoy all this hotel had to offer. Need to try again with more free time.

Positives: The front desk was helpful on check in. The view is wonderful.

Negatives: Couldn't get a king bed with a bath tub. Very busy night.

Luxurious public areas and good sized modern rooms with full range of services provided by friendly and attentive staff in a superb, waterfront location.

Positives: Superb waterfront location.

Negatives: Parking was a walk and 36 bucks to park per night.

The hotel was large many amenities and options provided for various needs. Many people use this hotel for their destination it was busy but you could see it was efficient and appeared to be well managed. We were issued a room next to the elevator so we were able to hear the elevator running all night. Not a deal breaker but noticeable just the same. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Amenities provided for in room were well thought out. eg: wine glasses, coffee pot, bath robes, umbrella. Staff that helped<BR/>was knowledgeable and friendly. Lemon Ice water dispenser in Lobby was nice touch.

Positives: The beds were extremely comfortable. Really liked the duvets rather than simple sheets and deluxe blankets.

Negatives: Attention to detail in the housekeeping. eg: bed skirt tucked between mattresses, looked sloppy. For the Bayshore level little things need to matter.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 10 Nov 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

The hotel was staffed by friendly and helpful people that gave good recommendations on local attractions and restaurants. The bathroom was a little smaller than expected but made up for by very comfortable beds and a tidy room.

Positives: Great bed and pleasant room.

Negatives: Hallway noise easy to hear.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 24 Aug 2010 rated 7 out of 10.

Hotel was great overall, but when I phoned to ask for a room change to a quieter location, I was told to call back two times and never did get through to front desk, they said there was a line-up there, but when we went down to the lobby there was only one client and three clerks. By then, we had to leave for our dinner, though. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Positives: Bedding is great; location is nice.

Negatives: Front desk staff unavailable when needed; parking not included &amp; very costly.

Ok for the price - just kind old.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Hotel was dated and needs to be redone.

Beautiful location and landscaping, with stunning views from our room. Lovely pool. Located beside Stanley Park and it's a beautiful walk along the seawall to the center of downtown. Hallways are a bit dingy and dated, but the room was newly renovated. Highly recommended.

Positives: Beautiful location and views, with lovely landscaping.

Negatives: A little distant from the center of downtown, but this is minor.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 04 Jun 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

The hotel lobby and rooms were well put together and clean. Our room did face the wall of the convention center, which was about 10 feet away from the window, so we had no view. Overall I would say it was a polished hotel. I would have been more upset with the room's view if I had not gotten such a good deal through Priceline.

Positives: The location and quality of the rooms were excellent.

Negatives: The staff made me feel like a less desirable guest.

The hotel has been remodel for the Olympic. The quality of the reconstruction was below average. Tub don't drain, finish work is rough, no sound insulation because you can hear people walking down the hall.

Positives: Great responsiveness from the manager.

Negatives: The bath did not drain due to hair ball in Drain. Manager upgrade us to a suite.

OMG, this was so much nicer than it could have been! The view onto the marina was lovely, and watching float planes take off past our window was so much fun.

Positives: Heavenly bed!

Negatives: Tiny bathroom.

We felt like we were treated as second class citizens. Room type was not available and a room with a view was not available. The room was very nice, but we had a great view of an ally and our room looked directly into a meeting room across the ally from us. I guess we got what we paid for.

Positives: The location and local surroundings of this hotes was beautiful.

Negatives: We felt like we were treated as second class.

Negatives: Nothing!

I won't be back. After 2 weeks and 7 hotels, this was our worst experience, and that was sad because we were looking forward to it. very rude, cold, judgmental staff who did not make us feel welcome. Everywhere else we ere treated like royalty, not where we were expecting to be treated the best. Big disappointment.

Positives: Great view and wonderful open windows.

Negatives: Treatment by cold, snobby staff, no bathtub, no Westin unwind, proms, inconvenient to transit system, bad concierge.
