The only explanation I can come up with about the dirty women's socks at the bottom of the bed is that they did not change the sheets. During the night I woke up and was stretching out when I felt something at the bottom of the bed under the covers. I pulled it out to find a pair of dirty women's socks. This is the only time I have been disgusted with a hotel. As an airliner pilot I stay in a lot of hotels and this was by far the worst for cleanliness and attention to cleanliness.

Positives: It was new.

Negatives: The dirty socks I found in the bed I was sleeping in during the night.

There was no ice in the ice machine. No shampoo or soap in the room. Coffee grounds in the coffee machine. We have definitely stayed in better locations--- BUT the staff were very friendly and wanted to correct problems. They could not, however, change the color of my hair post-jacuzzi, which is now a lovely shade of green.

Positives: Staff were very friendly and helped to fix problems

Negatives: no shampoo in room, jacuzzi turned my hair green
