For travelers who appreciate a quaint, quality character accommodation for an overnight or weekend stay, the Abercorn Inn delivers that and a convenient location that gives you easy access to Metro Vancouver and the International Airport, the Vancouver Island Ferry Terminals and an easy drive to the USA border crossing into Seattle and SeaTac International Airport. There is lots of shopping in the area and a diverse selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. Easy access and provided parking add to the features of this timeless Scottish theme gem.
Positives: The Abercorn Inn is an older refined quality Inn superbly located for that quick overnight stay to catch a flight, a ferry or a meeting in Richmond.
Negatives: This property is not welcoming to families or pets.

It was a decent and clean hotel. It was not very fancy and the decor in the hallways was a bit dated, but overall I was very satisfied with my stay (OK, the pillows were a bit too big for my taste). Occasionally the air was a little stale, but I could open a window for a couple minutes and that took care of it.

This was our first time in Canada so we do not know if the location was good, but as a family with a young child we loved the relaxed manner. The fact that the hotel was small, created a more intimate and friendlier climate. Families with older children would be hard-pressed to occupy their minds/time, but otherwise cleanliness, hygiene, quality and cost of food in the restaurant, the vouchers for free breakfast in the morning, and the free shuttle to and from the international airport, were beyond fault.
Positives: Great relaxed atmosphere, excellent value and really pleasant and pleasing hotel staff, particular in the pub/restaurant.

Convenient location, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant food was extremely delicious and breakfast was fast and convenient.
Positives: Good location near the airport, clean rooms and comfortable surroundings.
Negatives: Our room was 2 double beds. Would have been nicer if had a queen.

This hotel is close to the airport and across the street from Costco and a couple of blocks away from Rona. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable with a variety of free channels on the TV.
Positives: Clean, comfortable beds, mini fridge, coffee/tea in room.
Negatives: Only 2 computers in 'business office.

It had good access to both the city of Vancouver and to the airport, if the latter is important to the traveler, it wasn't to me. Its Scottish theme was quite pleasant and not over done. We did not eat at the hotel but we did receive breakfast vouchers which was a nice touch. Overall I would stay there again.
