One of the great reasons for choosing Crown an Anchor Campground in Qualicum Bay for your vacation is its central location on Vancouver Island. The beaches, forests, and all the natural beauty of Vancouver Island are all within easy access of our RV park.

You can walk the beach at the front of the property in the morning, stop at the quaint Crown and Anchor Pub and choose a excellent meal from the full menu for lunch, and in the afternoon walk the Trans Canada Trail that runs along the back of the campground. Or, take a short drive to the top of Mt Washington to ride the ski lift and then head over to one of the small Gulf Islands and take in some of the many attractions that these tiny communities have to offer. A couple of top notch Golf courses are just down the road as are the outstanding Horne Lake caves with guided tours. And don't forget, a two hour drive will land you in the Pacific Rim National Park on the west coast of the Island for whale watching, beach combing, hot springs, and all that goes with it.

There are major centers for shopping, dining and exploring within a half hours drive in each direction along the coastal road with many small towns to discover up and down the Island in between.

Had a Great time. Lots to see and do. The beach is beautiful. Well maintained campground and super nice people.
