We booked this hotel at the last minute and were quite happy. However, the first room we were shown had a very off-putting smell, a mix of stale cigarettes and other, undefined elements. We spoke with the front desk person who came to our room, agreed their was a problem, and promptly placed us in another room. Everyone we dealt with, from the housekeeping staff to the restaurant personnel, was friendly, efficient, and helpful.

Positives: Helpful staff.

Negatives: Strange smelling rooms.

Staff only efficient, not friendly at desk. Food fair only. Rooms crowded but no chairs had to sit on beds bathrooms not well cleaned, corners missed,

Negatives: Very dangerous parking across road, no crosswalk or help for disabled.

Priced a little too high for the service we received. The restaurant staff was rude and slow. The only person to show us any care was the waitress on the morning we left after telling her about our very unrestful evening. When checking in request a room on one of the upper floors.

Positives: Very close to downtown. Could shop and not have to worry about driving in the snow.

Negatives: They put us on the floor with the banquet halls and the last night we were there everyone was outside our window smoking and laughing until 230am.
