It was the third time we stayed at Delta (previously in Vancouver and Whistler). We all love Delta for its spacious rooms, balcony, and nice bathrooms. This hotel is located in downtown shopping area. A little away from old town area.

Positives: Each room with balcony, nice bathroom, and clean environment.

Negatives: WiFfi is not free in rooms.

Good location. Professional staff. Clean and spacious room. Public space looks very up-scaled. I wish the hotel can provide some discount on breakfast or include the free breakfast. Internet service is not free and very pricey. The blanket I had is very thin. I kept waking up because of feeling cold. (I did not have the AC on.)

The hotel room itself was very clean and tidy. It looked like I could have been the first person that ever use it. They provided everything a hotel should provide which was friendly service and all little comforts such as shampoo and clean towels.

Positives: I loved the bed and the pillows. Most comfortable bed I've slept in in a while.

Negatives: Parking is expensive for a city that doesn't have much convinience for a car.

The hotel room was large and nice. However a major problem was the heating system in the room. Every twenty-five minutes or so the heat would come on and the heating unit was very loud. It woke me and my wife up all night long. Could not turn off the heat because very cold in February. Next day, after complaining to manager, my wife and I received a free upgrade to an executive suite which was very nice (and quiet too). Also received complimentary drink vouchers for the restaurant and free parking for two days.

My fiance and brother arrived to the hotel very late at night after an exhausting 8-hour drive. Upon check-in, our room only had 1 bed. Rooms with two beds were occupied, and customer service would not do the right thing and give us another single bed room just for the night. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. The room we stayed in the first night was smoky and damp. Customer service did give us a cot for my brother after intense arguing (they were going to charge us for the cot). The next day was much better. They upgraded us to a room with two beds which was much cleaner, and they did it without delay.

Positives: The second room we stayed in was very nice. Location to Metro was wonderful.

Negatives: Customer service was unreasonably bad on our first night. Parking is a rip-off.

This hotel needs a makeover and imposition of a non-smoking policy. It smells stale cigarettes and cheap motel air-freshener in an effort to mask the former. Oddly in cosmopolitan Montreal, the hotel's bar closes at 11:30 pm on week nights.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Dirty parking lot, stale cigarette smell everywhere, and smell of cheap motel in halls.

Our room was large with it's own sitting area and balcony we could go out to. The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly.

It's a nice hotel located near the McGill University, close to shopping, restaurants, and metro. The bed is comfortable. The room is big, the bathroom is a little bit old though. I would definitely stay in the hotel next time and recommend it to my friends.

We were at the Delta Montreal, they were having problem with some guest rooms and had to transfer us to the Delta Centerville, which is not far from them. Arrived the Delta Centerville at about 11.30 am, reception staff did not know what was going on (which is rare for a respectful brand hotel), he had a long discussion with his female supervisor in French, which I do not understand. Judging from their facial expression, I did not feel like I was welcome.

Positives: Attractive front lobby, convenient location.

Negatives: Impolite front desk (including supervisor), needs new furniture, television set is from the 80's, drawers smell.

Flowers in lobby were past prime, spa was always full of kids, as was the sauna. Room was clean and beds were quite comfortable. Personnel were polite and professional.

Hotel met all of my expectations. I've stayed there on two separate occasions, once with my husband and small children, once with a girlfriend. The hotel is well suited for both. The location is terrific. The amenities, including a squash court, kids play room and on-site spa can't be beat and the hotel rooms are very pleasant.

Positives: Great beds, spa in hotel, downtown Cosmopolitan.

Negatives: Have to pay for parking.
