Very rude, site was smaller than a standard mall parking stall and hopelessly unlevel. Opted not to stay. You'd be better off in a walmart parking lot.

Negatives: Arrived at 3PM it was really hot that day and when i discovered the issue with trying to level my RV I opted not to stay. I asked him to give me a few minutes plugged in to cool my RV, while I reloaded my car on the trailer. it was 35 degrees inside and my dog was suffering badly. He became very rude and resorted to name calling. Refusing to even give me 5 minutes while I loaded my car. So I unloaded my Generator and ran that while I loaded. Do yourself a favour and stay away. This jackass really needs a lesson in common courtesy.

I am the park manager writing this hoping that we won't be mistaken. We do have many returning clients every year and some of them have been returning for over 10 years. Presently our park is almost full over the busy weekend except a vacant small partial site. This man came in on July 19/2013 at around 3 pm without reservation and asked if we had a site available. We said to him that all our full hook up sites were fully taken due to busy weekend and said we only had a smaller partial(than full) site left with no sewer at lower rate $36/nt and showed him. He said he would take it, which was entirely his own choice and he was going to park his motorhome first before registration. So he recognized the size of the site before he decided to take it, as we clearly showed and explained to him. As such, the size couldn't be an issue. That partial site size is, 18 x 45 plus 18 x 16 grass area in the back. Yes it is smaller than full site but still larger than a mall parking stall I guess! He came back to our office in about 20 min. saying that he couldn't justify the rate $36/nt beacuse the site was not leveled well. The fact is, I have been working in this park for over 10 years and never had leveling issue with that site. I asked if I could check the level and tried to find a gauge at his motorhome in vain. While he didn't tell me where the level gauge was, he said he could tell by his eyes... The power was already hooked up for airconditioning to cool down his motorhome. He said he needed to cool down his motorhome first of all for his dog. Oh well...that's o.k so far. So I showed him another small partial site for him to try if he wanted, informing that the site was closer to the road noise. He wouldn't take the other site..., so I had to tell him that's all we had suggesting to look around somewhere else. We recommended two other parks but he said he wouldn't stay there... one for too expensive rate, and the other he just didn't want to stay there. He seemed that he wouldn't like to stay at any park for whatever reason, and everywhere would be so busy this weekend anyway. It was a class C motorhome, and I suggested him to try the Superstore area where he might be able to find some shaded area for free. He made no comment on my suggestion and he wouldn't give any idea what his intention was, but he just wanted to get airconditioning until the motorhome got cool enough for his dog. At the same time his trailer and jeep were blocking the park road for over 30 min. So I said to him that he needed to register to keep the site or he needed to pull out his motorhome as we might have another walk in customer. He then suddenly got so mad complaining about our service that I had to leave him on his way. Actually, that small partial site was taken by another walk in guest in about half an hour without any leveling issue after he had left. He could have asked a favour from the beginning, but we couldn't waste more time dealing with his fooling around. We hope that the ordinary public won't be misled by a fraction of one-sided story. Thank you.

We stayed with our son who is going to UBCO. Everything was great, rate was reasonable and especially the manager was very friendly and helpful. Hope to return next year.

A great rv park if you like to stay away from the crowd in the beach area. We enjoyed a peaceful stay and the park manager was friendly and helpful accommodating our late night arrival. Biking on the trail behind the park was a pleasant experience too. Will return next year.

Please do yourself a favour and do not stay here. This campground is home to many long term stay campers, who nicely add to the 'horror' film atmosphere.
They have may loose 'dogs' who are essentially farm dogs with apparent ailments.
The campground itself has extremely unclean washroom facilites, dirty drinking water and a 'management' team which can be best described as 'shady'. The name of this campground is indeed correct, but probably would be better described as "Shady, unsafe, unclean and scary" Lane campground.
We were lucky to move to another campground to avoid this horror show. When telling locals of our experience they all had the same reaction to this unfit site. Hopefully they loose any accreditation (if they had any) as this is not a fit, safe place to stay.

Hopefully this review reaches at least one potential future camper, and does them the favor of NOT staying here!
