What a change under the new management. Staff are friendly and the grounds and washrooms are well kept.
No services but many free amenities like dump station and laundry.
Positives: The river is a blast to float down

The old management is back!! The park is being run by the old manager from years back and he is getting the park back up to standards and all new staff in. Looks like this is going to be a great family get-away again. Staff are friendlt and they are completely renovationg the one bathroom and were in full swing getting the other fully cleaned.

This place used to have great managment. The new park manager is lazy never lives up to his promises and seems like he is only there to act like a mall cop and pull power trips on you. If you need anything don't bother asking it won't happen.

Had a great time camping at this park. Only complaint I have is that the washrooms and showers are not very clean.

Stayed there last year generator and coolers stolen no security what so ever ...very dirty, dirty place. C'mon, keep it clean, like really ..not a place to bring children that's for sure ..the worst camping expience ever. Will never stay there again. What happend to the old crew? They were great...this place really fell apart. Never again!!!!!!!

Stayed at this campground last summer (2008) and loved it. Clean, polite and courteous staff, good security with noticable staff present the entire week we were there. The kids loved it because of access to the river, playgrounds and they had a lady who did a convenience store type thing. It was nice to be able to put the kids to bed at night and not have to worry about loud music, drunks yelling and swearing. Quiet time was 11:00. Went back this long weekend and there has been a change in management. Rarely saw staff at all, park was not clean, they have several outhouses and a ball dugout in disrepair. It is now a party park! We had our lawn chairs stolen the first night we were there and the park management could have cared less. The staff member actually told me that they have had several times this summer where there has been thefts of property, one lady had her locked shed broken into and her generator stolen. Will not ever be going back there again. Does anyone know where the previous managers went, if they are running another campground somewhere I will go there.

Stayed there last summer as I used to camp there years ago and had a great experience. What a difference "New Management" makes. The place is filthy, the guy who runs the park is rude, the staff are not friendly at all, and it is no longer a place to take your kids. Take my advise and just drive by. The old Westward Ho doesn't exist anymore which is a shame. Most of the old year long campers I knew have left due to the new management.

Great place for kids,staff are easy to talk to and eager to please. River runs around entire park and kids dont want to leave it.

Bathrooms are gross. I have witnessed management swear and yell in front of children. Management are not easy to deal with.
