There are many amenities and activities available here, including interpretive programs, a playground, showers, hiking trails, paved bike paths, and close access to the Kananaskis Lakes.

Stayed initially at Boulton, but had electical issues so staff found us a spot at Elkwood. @nd site was even better than first one. Friendly attentive staff, clean shower rooms and one of the quietest, well-treed campgrounds we've ever stayed at.

Positives: clean, friendly staff,spacious sites, good water, lots of bike trails and close to +++activities in Kananaskis.

Negatives: Vault toilets were stinky, even for an outhouse.

had a beautiful campsite and privacy, very nice lady runs our loop and was very informative. would come back again

Awesome campground! 4 loops, 130 sites, all well-treed, most quite secluded. Campground has comfort stations with showers & flush toilets, as well as outhouses. Water taps provide drinking water that does not have to be boiled. There is also an amphitheatre, which features live interpretive programs Wednesday through Sunday. These are specifially geared at kids, but are a lot of fun for adults too. The trail head for the Marl Lake trail is also in Elkwood campground.
