I would definitely go back to this campground. The staff were very friendly, the grounds were very clean and the quading trails were awesome especially for the kids.
Positives: The out houses were the cleanest I have ever seen in a campground. They had absolutely NO odour.
The quading trails were great. There was enough variety in the trails for everyone to enjoy and to keep the kids wanting to go back the next day.
Negatives: The boat dock and access to getting your boat in and out of the water really needs to be improved. I understand the lakes are really shallow this year but it was almost impossible for us to get in and out of our boat when we wanted access to it. We have a small aluminum boat and we had to pull our way through the mud with our paddles to get close to shore then walk through mud past our ankles. Not a good experience.

Are group will never come back to this campground unless new management steps in. The camp ground is beautiful but the staff is the worst we’ve ever met. We were pretty much harassed by the management, it is unbelievable, we have never been treated so poorly.
We decided to go as a group of 30 adults and children. It has access to a beautiful lake and quadding trails. Perfect for all ages.
Our first step back was$20.00 a night for un-serviced sites. But we knew that coming in.
Upon arrival we got our huge list of rules. Most understandable, because we are in a camp ground. No dogs on the beach, don’t be loud after 11, no generators past 11, etc. But we were soon to find out that the management had some additional rules.
- Your not allowed to cut through the bushes to get to your campsite, you must use the road.
- Your not allowed to wear your dirty clothing in the lake, because it may get contaminated.
It is like she had it out for us the minute we got there. We had frequent stops at our campsite, just so she can let us know of more rules. She is doing us a favor by allowing us in the common area to have a bbq. The kids were given orders to go straight back to their campsite after quadding. She didn’t like it when you upset some gravel with your quad tires and you were told to put it back into place. The gates according to the guide say the quadding compound will be open until 8 p.m. but this wasn’t true. You had to ask them for the key every time. You weren’t allowed to laugh or be loud past 11p.m. , she informed us of this 3 times in one night, all before 8. Coming up to our camping spots and turning off her vehicle lights so she can spy on us. The list goes on.
They spend all their time making up new rules that they are slacking on the maintenance of the campsite. During the whole weekend we were there the porta-potties were not cleaned. They were covered with feces.
I feel that the management can’t handle a quadding campground, they just aren’t cut out for this line of work.

The area is beautiful the staff keep a very tight ship enforcing every rule known to man, although I agree with the rules, they often come accross as over the top and just plain rude. Treating campers as young kids reminding them of rules over and over again even if they dont apply to the individuals.
I have gone to this camp ground every year for the last four and I will continue to go cause you just can't find camp grounds that are set up so well for quading, and children. We usually go in groups with several families that all have small children, we quad during the early day, go to the beach during mid day and at night bring the kids to the park. the actual camp areas are a little small in most cases but that doesnt really bother me, as for teh outhouses we all have campers so I really can't comment. The beach is ranked nightly and they strickly enforce NO DOGS on the beach, must be tied at all times and quite.Which for families with dogs this can be a challenge.
Overall if you follow the rules and dont mind being reminded of them constantly the area is perfect.
Positives: Quading trails
Quad lock-up (Secure)
Strict noice rules,Dog rules
they rank the beach nightly
Empty the trash daily
Negatives: Staff can be over the top and negative.
