Additional details

There are 145 electrified sites, spread out in six areas. Most of the sites are leveled with gravel pads, and have a gentle slope back to front for drainage. All sites have pole barbecues, picnic tables, and trashcans. Drinking water is available from central taps. Tree cover is provided by the mature stands of pine. Toilet facilities vary from primitive pump-out biffies in the camping areas, to modern flush facilities at the coin-operated shower houses. Firewood is available at a small cost. The restriction that all pets must be leashed and kept 100 feet from waterways and beaches is increasingly enforced by the park patrol. All campers staying at a site must be at least 19 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
