Just an awesome, relaxing, and peaceful camping experience!! It's a great place to take the family & enjoy some family time together. The campsites are laid out in a few different loops, and walking through the loops is good exercise, as at times there's quite a difference in elevation.
The camping staff are always friendly (we've camped in Murray Doell campground for the past 18 yrs). They maintain the bathrooms & showers very well, as well as ensure that the campsites are kept well-maintained.
The individual sites are mostly a good size, leaving room for sitting around the campfire, and enjoying the outdoors.
It's just a great place to enjoy your family vacation! :) We love the sounds of the loons. Lac des Isles is a large lake, so although many campers take advantage of the water sports, it remains a peaceful environment in which to camp. :)
