AMAZING location! Close to all tourist attractions, shopping, and the lake/harbor.
Positives: Large rooms with excellent seating area with a view of the CN Tower, Rogers Center, the harbor, and Steamwhistle.

A good hotel with a fantastic location, that is starting to show it's age.
Positives: Fantastic location.
Negatives: Hotel refused to honor the breakfast offer without us pushing the issue despite it being clearly advertised.

The blankets had yellow and pinkish stains. The room smells like smoke. I didn't asked for a smoking room. The lady who checked me in said that is the only room they had available. I had small children and I didn't expect the room to be like this. The room itself is situated where I can see the pool on the lower level with no privacy at all. It is took dark, despite turning all the lights in the room. I will never stay in intercontinental Toronto hotel again.
Positives: There is nothing I like about this hotel.
Negatives: The blankets had yellow and pinkish stains.

Lobby was beautiful. The room - not so much. It still had a 27 inch tube TV<BR/>in it.
Positives: Location was ideal.
Negatives: The room was outdated for a 4star hotel.

Positives: Location and very appealing.
Negatives: Bathroom tub shower area needs recaulked (moldy).

We were only going to be one night overnight in Toronto due to a flight layover. We arrived late and tired. When we told the front desk clerk we had never been to Toronto he upgraded us to a higher floor with a view of the CN tower.
Positives: The front desk staff was great.
Negatives: No complaints actually.

I like the Intercontinental but feel that for the quality of the hotel, the rooms are no different than 3 star hotels I have stayed at.
Positives: Very clean and central location.
Negatives: Rooms were decorated standard and common.

My experience with the Intercontinental Hotel was great. The room was spacious and the bathroom was also spacious. The television had an awful humming and buzzing sound, which was very annoying and distracting. The wait time for the elevator was ridiculous but was probably due to New Years Eve celebrations.
Positives: Spacious room, spacious bathroom.
Negatives: The TV had an awful buzzing/humming sound. No Ipod dock.

Positives: Location & atmosphere of the hotel.
Negatives: Changed our bed accomodations from 2 Queens - to a King without notifying me.

Definitely a 4-star hotel. The service was excellent and the decor very appealing. The rooms provided all the extras that made the stay a pleasure.
Positives: We loved the view from our room overlooking the lake. The location was excellent.
Negatives: It didn't have a casual dinning bistro.

The hotel was immaculate and the staff was very well organized and pleasant. I would revisit this city anytime and would most certainly stay at this hotel again.

Negatives: Can not think of anything.

Had an excellent experience and would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would suggest is that they give you complimentary bottles of water.
Positives: Rooms were beautiful, location was perfect and I loved the duvets.
Negatives: Toronto is a very hectic city and it was confusing trying to find the parking area and it was confusing trying to get parked.

The view of the lake is extraordinary. You can also see the baseball stadium and commuter airport. Staff is pleasant. Beds are comfortable. Lamps are bright enough for reading (a rarity). Elevator noise can be heard in nearby rooms.
Positives: The desk manager gave us a terrific room.
Negatives: The line to check in and check out was long and slow. No guide to the parking area from the street.

Loved it!
Positives: I thought it was beautiful and romantic and very clean.
Negatives: Our room was to close to the elevator and we could here it running.

A comfortable quiet hotel even though it is in the centre of downtown. Spacious well planned and decorated rooms, helpful staff and a good quality but reasonably priced restaurant.
Positives: There were thoughtful design features that added to the comfort and convenience of the rooms.
Negatives: The lack of a shop in house to purchase small items and sundries. A kettle in the room for tea making, a coffee maker doesn't do it.

Elegant main entry, quick access to the elevators. Very clean hotel with large rooms and good views of the water front. Nice room decor, slightly dated bathroom but clean and in good repair.
Positives: Good central location close to subway/shopping/sports venues.
Negatives: The parking garage was not very well laid out for the hotel it catered more to the convention centre. It was easy to walk from the convention centre.

The hotel itself seemed very upscale but was difficult to find with all the construction. When we checked in, we were able to switch to a smoking room with two doubles, which was a very nice room. There was a problem with the bathroom sink, apparently the cold water leaks, so they just shut the water off and loosened the handle. We went a whole night and part of the next morning without cold water in the sink. Room service includes gratuity and a delivery charge per person. When the food arrived, it was presented very well and was delicious. I paid by cash and had thought I paid enough, but because of the exchange rate, hotel services called my room 2 hours later to inform me that I owed them another dollar and some change. That seemed kind of cheap on their part.
Positives: The pillows were great and I liked the floor to ceiling walls.
Negatives: Heavy parking charges and room service is very expensive.

The hotel was clean and nice. The staff was accommodating.
Positives: The hotel was clean, great view and overall what I expected for the price.
Negatives: I didn't like the way they put snack and mini bar in the room without putting a sign in the front that we have to pay.

This hotel was in a very good location to subways and restaurants. It was clean and attractive. It was definitely friendly to a business traveler. Not as family friendly as the pool was very much part of the spa and was meant for a relaxed, quiet atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable.
Positives: Very clean and comfortable beds.
Negatives: Lack of towels provided even though we had requested more. Only provided enough for 3 people.

In spite of the fact that the room were given smelled like stale cigarette smoke, our room was changed within minutes of making the call to the front desk. The second room was not as spacious as the first one but more than met our needs. The location was awesome!
Positives: The location for us was excellent. The lobby was extremely clean, the concierge was more than eager to help us.
Negatives: We asked for a non-smoking room, the room we were assigned smelled like stale cigarette smoke.

It was okay. Was not the best for customer service as above? When I arrived there was a spot of blood about the size of a dime right beside the toilet. I left it for 2 nights and then cleaned it myself when it was not cleaned by the cleaners. Was okay otherwise.
Positives: The location was the most important part of this hotel for me.
Negatives: Looking to print 2 pages at midnight on Friday Night. Told to go to business services just to the left. not able to find, then pointed again, not g.
