Parking thirty two dollars, very uncomfortable beds, small bathrooms, linen scratchy not up to the Hilton standards. Would not go back.

Positives: Staff fairly friendly.

Negatives: Hated beds, very small bathroom, and scratchy linen.

After charging an astronomical amount for valet parking with no option to not use the service, they scratched the back left of my car. When confronted they checked their "cameras" and say that they found no negligence and then now refuse to speak with me further.

Positives: Clean

Negatives: Valet

Considering the hotel was under massive construction, the staff was very friendly. The extra pullout couch was a definite bonus!

Positives: The pull out couch was awesome!

Negatives: It was under construction so there wasn't really a lobby and the hotel was all torn up.

This hotel is under renovation, lots of dust and noise. Hopefully the rooms will get a makeover, as they were dated.

Positives: Location downtown was perfect, large room, complimentary hot breakfast.

Negatives: $ of parking, cheap, old furnishings in room, under renovation.

This hotel was really nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was really clean and nice. The breakfast was simple but good quality. The only downfall was that the gym and pool were closed due to renovations. Other than that, I recommend it!

Positives: I liked that it was a suite rather than a simple room.

Negatives: I did not like that it was under renovations while we were there.

We have stayed here before, originally found it through Toronto Tourism when there were no rooms available for the Royal Winter Fair. The continental breakfast is important when traveling with a family. Did not like the street people outside, my daughter was very scared when one tried to hug her & she started crying, she is 14 & from a rural area, it really scared her but I guess there is only so much the hotel can do. Would never go for a walk, but I guess that's Downtown Toronto.

Positives: Adjoining rooms, continental breakfast.

Negatives: Breakfast staff not too friendly, to worried about voucher.

Overall the hotel was run down and out dated, especially our room. The sofa bed was very old, uncomfortable, and looked dirty. The drop ceiling above the tub was stained and in very poor condition, also the tile around the tub was chipped up. My son, 12, slept on the sofa bed, and right out side the windows was a neon lit up strip club. Hence the poor family rating.

Positives: Valet was pretty quick.

Negatives: Run down and dirty.

I found it to be a diamond in the rough. It was very clean, comfortable, had a pool, and had free breakfast. I travel to party and it was close to some good party spots. The neighborhood was bad, so I was told, so we took a cab to our destinations. The cab fare was a bit much but that's not the hotel's fault. Overall, I would definitely stay there again!

Positives: Very clean, comfortable bed, close to city attractions, and free breakfast!

Negatives: It was in a bad neighborhood.

I've been stuck in worse. I prefer much better. The staff was very nice and helpful. Carpet and furniture really needed to be cleaned.

Positives: Close to Yonge Street, but was told by Police officer to only go west. Unsafe the other directions.

Negatives: Non-smoking room wasn't available and breakfast room was extremely crowded.

Enjoyed my stay. Ideal for downtown and tourist venues. Only concern was that it was quite a small room for breakfast and around 9.30am it was very busy, however the guests did not loiter when they had finished eating. Overall 2 thumbs up.

Positives: Ideal location for downtown. Walk able to most places.

Negatives: Breakfast busy in morning.

Positives: I had a wonderful first impression when walking in the lobby. Very beautiful!

Negatives: I didn't really care for the televisions in the room. I was a little disappointed b/c I thought I was getting a king size bed but got a double.

In fairness, the hotel was nice and clean but it's just situated in a not so good area.

Positives: The hotel was clean , and convenient. It provides amenities that you would enjoy.

Negatives: I paid for a junior suite and my confirmation that I got was I would be in 2 queen bed with a sofa bed, but instead they gave a queen bed only .

A bit to far from the area that I wanted to be in. Not in a very safe neighborhood. Should note that parking will cost $19 for underground parking spot.

Positives: Front desk staff.

Negatives: Dirty, hallways on my floor ( 2nd) filled with chairs and stuff.

Although the surrounding neighborhood is only so-so, the hotel is quite nice and very secure. I felt very safe there. Lobby elegant; rooms well equipped, and staff very accommodating on replacing faulty coffee maker, etc. Easy to get to. Great free breakfast - good coffee, fresh fruit, assortment of food, clean and comfortable eating area. Despite shabby neighborhood, the central location can't be beat. Wouldn't walk around alone outside after dark, but otherwise ok.

Positives: Excellent security; also very comfortable bed; great breakfast.

Negatives: The hotel clean, room a little shabby (e.g. rug)

This hotel was in a bad area of town. the parking was far away and expensive. there were garbage cans, stained furniture and random objects right outside my room. a staff member uninvited helped himself into my room with his key and told me my TV was too loud. a disagreed and was angry about no phone call or knock and this staff member who could barely speak English got loud and called the police from my room phone. last of all, I was charged for two nights and an additional charge of $70 when I only stayed for one night.

Positives: A staff member from the hotel helped me find the parking lot which cost $16 to park a night.

Negatives: Dirty hallways - unfriendly staff - bad location - expensive, far away parking.

This hotel was excellent, with the exception of the walk to the subway station. The rooms were spacious and clean. The service was friendly. The heated pool and spa were great for a cold February in Toronto.

Positives: The rooms, service and amenities were exceptional.

Negatives: The hotel was located a short distance from the nearest subway station.
