This hotel situated directly across from the falls and the beautiful Victoria Park making both very easy to access whereas the other luxury hotels are up on a hill and getting to the promenade is less convenient. The staff was very friendly and gave us the best room available on Priceline.com . All the nightlife, shops, and attractions, including a casino, are right out the back door so no need for a car or cabs.

Positives: The location of this hotel it the most convenient to promenade along the falls and the night life for Clifton Hill.

Negatives: The lobby of this hotel is oddly configured with the elevators in a narrow maze and not much seating.

We stayed here before and we love the location, the friendly staff, and the buffet breakfasts!

Positives: Location, cleanliness, and friendly.

Negatives: Did not get a room with a view of the falls.

Spend the money to stay somewhere else. I "Named my own price" and stayed here for $89/night, and would have been happier at a Comfort Inn.

Positives: Location - the Sheraton is within easy walking distance to the falls.

Negatives: Interior rooms are dirty and very out dated.

This hotel is in a great location! Adjacent to many top attractions including Clifton Hill, the American Falls, Casino Niagara and many others. Definitely good value.

Positives: Location is great, staff were very helpful.

Negatives: Parking was expensive.

The hotel is located two minutes from the falls promenade area and the entrance to Maid of the Mist. What a great location! We were originally given a city view room and then paid sixty dollars to be upgraded to a full Falls view room. The view was truly breathtaking as we were on the twenty first floor with floor to ceiling windows. My only complaint was the room itself looked a little out of date and the bed skirt was dirty. I also found a hair in the sheets with made me very uncomfortable about the overall cleanliness of the room.

Positives: The incredible view of both the American and Horseshoe Falls from our room!

Negatives: The bed skirt was scuffed and dirty. I also found a hair in the sheets.

The was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. The room was a dump. It was by the elevator. It sounded like a roller coaster went by every 10 seconds. When asked for another room, hotel refused to give us one. They did offer us a complimentary breakfast which we declined.

Positives: Location was excellent.

Negatives: The room was the worst I have ever stayed in. It was noisy, by the elevator. It sounded like a roller coaster went by every minute.

The main lobby was great! It had free Internet, the rooms were neat, the TV size was okay!

Positives: The bed was comfortable and there was free Internet in the main lobby, and the bathroom was clean.

Negatives: There was candy.

Overall, very satisfied. Only disappointment was the cost and inconvenience of parking. However, I would consider staying again.

Positives: Location was outstanding -- very close to the Falls.

Negatives: Expensive and inconvenient for parking.

The hotel looked as though they tried to renovate and upgrade, however was still a little old-fashioned. The comforter was too heavy to be moved, especially by a smaller female. The restaurant was expensive, but the view was lovely. We would go back if we were to get a good price again.

Positives: The Fallsview restaurant.

Negatives: During dinner we were sat at a table right beside stairwell.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff upgraded us to a falls view room for a small extra charge. Room still ended up being about 50% off the list price.

Positives: Location and Staff was excellent.

Negatives: No hot tub.

The nice rooms are really nice, but if you get one of the rooms without a view, the room doesn't even have a window! Try to request a fallsview room (we did this but never got it)

Positives: The view of the falls

Negatives: The room that we were given did not even have a window!!!

If you get it for the right price and can deal with extra firm bed, not a bad place to stay. Location and staff was awesome.

Positives: Location

Negatives: Bed was as hard as a rock.

Positives: View and location to falls..

Negatives: Swimming pool.

The only window in our room looked onto an interior hallway, and the blinds didn't work very well. The sink was worn, and the noisy elevators kept us awake. We stayed at a 2.5 star hotel on our 2nd night in Niagara, and the room was much better than this one.

Positives: Close to casino.

Negatives: Window looked onto an interior hallway and the sink was worn. Noisy elevators kept us awake.

The room originally booked was near elevator, and there was no window. We ended up upgrading to a city view. My wife and I were very disappointed by the room that we got originally.

Positives: Well decorated and location was great.

Negatives: The original room we booked.

Great location. Nice outside deck pool with great view of the falls, friendly staff for the most part (restaurant attendant was not too friendly) and pricey restaurant.

Positives: Great location. Deck pool provided great view of the falls.

Negatives: Restaurant was very pricey for a family with kids.

This was a great hotel! The room was amazing, everyone was super friendly and the location couldn't be beat!

Negatives: Nothing - it was great!

We booked this hotel with priceline. The room had no view at all. We had to move two times (first time:floor was wet, second time airco was leeking. Because of the help of a friendly maintenance-man we could move to a nice room with city-view. The people on the frontdesk were not very friendly and by checking out we had to wait for half an hour (it was amazing buzy)

Positives: The rooms with fall view are great, but the room you get if you book with priceline (bidding) are poor!!

Negatives: The room had no view, We need to move twice because there was a leek in the room

The location and friendliness of the staff was excellent. However, I was quite upset to find a pair of socks that did not belong to us behind a chair when we were leaving. I feel the room was not cleaned very well or that would have been found! Also, the view from this room was horrible. We overlooked a maintenance patio. The room also smelled of smoke. This was a huge disappointment for me overall. I have stayed in Sheraton Hotels and this is my worse experience.

Positives: The location of this hotel to Niagara Falls was great. We were able to park and walk our entire stay.

Negatives: I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. I found a pair of socks behind a chair that did not belong to us.

Hey, it's a Sheraton. The furniture is new, the beds are comfortable, and the service is professional. But the cheaper rooms -- the ones more likely to come through Priceline -- sometimes face an air shaft. And the halls can get sometimes crowded with small armies of fellow tourists travelling with feral children.

Positives: Location, right at Niagara Falls

Negatives: The lower price rooms face an air shaft.

The hotel
was at great location and
walk less than 5 mins to the American fall.

Positives: Great location.

Negatives: Room

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 01 Jun 2009 rated 7 out of 10.

The room that you received was not what was expected and when you went to upgrade, the price that you had to pay was of no savings compared to other hotels that were offering specials directly from their website. The parking was inconvenient and
they charge you for parking per day. That was not made clear when you made your reservations.

Positives: The location was very centralized.

Negatives: The staff was not very helpful. Parking attendants and front desk.

If you are looking for a nice hotel, nothing outstanding, in Niagara Falls, this is a good choice. We enjoyed our stay. It would also be a good place to go in cold weather. Many interesting things are connected and located in adjacent or close buildings.

Positives: Very close to Niagara falls and a good tourist atmosphere.

Negatives: Very poor parking arrangements.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 26 May 2009 rated 2 out of 10.

I will not visit this hotel again. No window and poor cable TV is not my idea of a romantic getaway with my partner. Please stay away from The Sheraton On The Falls in Niagara Falls.

Positives: They had a Starbucks onsite.

Negatives: No window, No one welcomed us, the room had dirt and scuffs on walls and doors.
