Biggest disappointment was that the pool is off site, around the block. I was travelling with my 6 and 3 year old kids. Not very convinient having to walk outside and check in at the YMCA to go swiming.
Positives: Very friendly staff.
Negatives: Breakfast was too busy.

Hotel was great, met our needs. Would to have liked the option to have 2 double beds instead of 1 king (was travelling with 17 year old son).
Positives: Convenience, kitchenette.
Negatives: Hotel only had a room with a king-bed available.

Stayed 9 nights. For the price it was comfortable. Older hotel that has been updated. Not all rooms have the sleep number bed. My non-smoking room must have previously been a smoking room because I could smell cigarette smoke every time I entered the room. Bedding was clean - but carpet was dirty & sticky. Really friendly staff at this hotel.
Positives: Very friendly staff, spacious room, quiet hotel.
Negatives: No sleep number bed in my room, non-smoking room but I could smell cigarette smoke, dirty sticky carpet, fridge was noisy.

This was a basic hotel that provided a buffet breakfast with good variety. The room space was probably best appreciated by someone who was staying for longer than one night as the room had a living area and full (equipped) kitchen. What was outstanding about this hotel was how quiet it was. I heard absolutely no noise from the hallway!
Positives: Convenient location. Good parking. Good selection of television channels.
Negatives: One of the two rooms I rented reeked of tobacco smoke residue despite that this was a non smoking hotel.

I was extremely impressed with the staff. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. The room was spacious and the kitchen area had a stove, oven, and full fridge, as well as dishes, pots, and pans to make cooking convenient. The complimentary breakfast was great. Lots of options - hot and cold. Coffee was available all day. I would definitely stay there again.
Positives: Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I was even chosen as the "guest of the day" and they brought up snacks, bottles of water, and a box of truffles.
Negatives: I thought it was wonderful! No complaints.

Myself and my travel partner were very pleased with the price value of the room we received and astonished by the amount of room space. However, the night shift front desk clerk was rather rude and threatened to charge myself if an extra guess (being my younger cousin) stayed with us one of the nights. Furthermore, he accused us or be a potential disruptions because we were planning on purchasing and cooking a pizza from the hotels small convenience service late a night. We complied with his will and never raised a fuss, nor where we ever a center of complaint from any other guests staying at the hotel. I have never heard of a hotel dinning extra people to stay in a room, especially when there is a provided pull-out couch, and I believe this is a true form of age discrimination or age profiling. I have never ever experienced this type of treatment from the staff of a hotel in my life.
Positives: Loads of space, great buffet breakfast included.
Negatives: Guest service was very rude and discriminative.

Overall, it was clean and acceptable. However, bathroom and the bedroom were tiny. We did not use the sitting-room so it was a waste for us. Also, I had intended to take my dog until I saw the pet charge was $75 whether any soiling occurred or not. I object to that. If my dog soils or does damage fine but not just in case!
Positives: The suite was spacious and clean.
Negatives: The breakfast room was overcrowded, unclean and not enough staff to run the buffet efficiently.

This hotel was good value compared to other possible locations in the London area. It was right Downtown and within walking distance of Downtown attractions. The room and lobby were clean but no frills. The breakfast area was crowded, not kept very clean and had one of the worst breakfasts that we have had at similar hotels in recent stays. Not much selection, not well stocked. Overall, I would stay again but probably have breakfast elsewhere.
Positives: Clean room and lobby area.
Negatives: Breakfast was among worst of the breakfast included hotels that we have stayed in recent years. Cramped parking garage.

Average hotel, decent rooms, horrible TV (27" or less?). Not the first time Ive stayed at Residence Inn, and when you ask for and expect a queen sized bed, they always give you a double. And when you argue with them, they insist it's a queen bed when it's clearly not.
Positives: Great location.
Negatives: Update your expectations of bed sizes.

This hotel was rated as a 2 1/2 star. I would definitely say that it was at least a 3 star. It was well kept, clean with a modern spacious room. There was a hot complimentary breakfast in the morning with a nice dining nook and plenty of choices for eating.
Positives: Spacious, clean, good location, complimentary breakfast.
Negatives: Underground parking.

Negatives: The front desk person did not know directions in the area and check in was a problem.

Family friendly and well located in the core of downtown London, the residence inn Marriott is a clean, mid-range accommodation with all the necessary amenities for travelers or businessmen. Excellent buffet breakfast included offered at an agreeable time when most travelers can actually enjoy it. Amazing value for the money; highly recommend!
Positives: Full kitchen to assist with managing small children.
Negatives: Limited parking available outside hotel.

Great, however I came on Saturday night for the 10k, 1/2 marathon on Sunday. We envisaged finishing around 11am but wanted to shower after. When asking at the front desk if we could be accommodated, an extra hour was given as long as we understood that any hour or part of thereafter would be charged at $55. This seemed a little excessive. We had no intention of staying later than necessary. I am wondering how this policy can accommodate genuine family situations such as ours without appearing unduly inhibitive.
Positives: Well equipped, clean, modern facilities, plenty of breakfast choice.
Negatives: Attitude at desk re extending leaving hour past 11am.

Very good hotel. We would stay there again.
Positives: Quick checking and checkout, quiet, good location,
Negatives: Not enough cleaning staff for breakfast.
