As a family, we wanted to discover Kingston. The Sheraton, Four Seasons, worked out perfectly, as it is centrally located in downtown Kingston, Ontario. We parked our car and did not have to use it again until we left. The staff was very accommodating and helpful; the hotel lobby was clean, small, but comfortable. Our room was a perfect fit for the family. With the beds extremely comfortable, our room clean, the children can't wait to go back!

Positives: The room was clean, beds were extremely comfortable and the location was perfect.

Negatives: The decor looks like it was getting a little old, but they will be remodeling this year.

In general the hotel has clean facilities, a good location and comfortable room.

Positives: Friendly receptionist- clean facilities-good location.

Negatives: It is good to have refrigerator in the room, welcoming basket, shower cap and toothpaste in the washroom and movie is expensive.

Very nice place to stay on a budget when traveling for business or pleasure. Its central location means that you are within walking distance of the water, Queens University, shopping and very nice restaurants. The only drawback is that the hotel restaurant, which also delivers room service, closes very early.

Positives: The low hassle check out and the ability to use your room card for both vending machines and the parking garage - this meant no searching for change!

Negatives: The hotel restaurant closed very early, 11pm on a Friday night and room service was not available after this time either.

While the staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel was no better than an economy option. The decor in the public spaces (lobby and halls) was no better than an old-age home. The beds were comfortable but the furniture and bath reminded me of a holiday Inn - an old one. I expected much nicer accommodations and amenities for the price, seeing as it was the most expensive hotel in the area.

Positives: Staff was very friendly.

Negatives: It was very poor decor, aged and not in any way upscale.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I had mixed reviews. The hotel itself had great accommodations, very clean rooms, and comfortable beds. The underground parking garage was having issues reading room cards to let people in and out, and that was an inconvenience. The room service was less than stellar as well. I enjoyed my stay overall.

Positives: Comfortable rooms, great views.

Negatives: Room service was very poor.

Clean, nice hotel in a good location. Staff were friendly and the check in was simple for a small town hotel. There was no form of express check in, so during peak periods a long wait to check in could be expected. The parking was hard to find, expensive and cramped. It was difficult to find a temporary parking spot just to check in. The lack of temporary parking almost caused me to go to a different hotel altogether. Overall, the hotel is nice and clean; however, it is far too expensive. The price is indicative of the Sheraton name but is not indicative of what you will receive from a hotel. I recommend going to a different hotel, you'll get the same thing for less money.

Positives: It was clean, staff was friendly.

Negatives: Parking was awful and hotel was far too expensive.

Checked-in midday, friendly service gave me a king bed, didn't use any hotel amenities as we were very tired. Bed had very nice duvet, and complimentary water but I think that¿s because we were Star wood Preferred Guests.

Positives: Location, Comfy bed, very clean, good value on parking.

Negatives: Nothing, the hotel met my expectations.

Great hotel close to the water. Within walking distance were every kind of dining experience you would want to have: German, Italian, Greek, Japanese, and tex-mex. Afternoon walking was just great. We took in the lake at a sidewalk cafe and had wonderful food and wine. Stores were a treat like Cooks. We indulged in chocolate and then found a great shoe store and came home with some great deals on Maine Trotters (Which are now made in Brazil). Seemed like a European city with all kinds of languages being spoken. The hotel was really wonderful and we are planning on coming back for our yearly Christmas overnight.

Positives: Room were large and very comfortable. We loved the pillows and the mattress. Much like I have a home. We slept beautifully. Air conditioning quiet.

Negatives: We had to paid $7 dollars a day to park. Electronic parking with room key didn't always work.

It was very comfortable and fresh and clean, and very conveniently located in the water front area of Kingston.

Positives: Very helpful when we had a problem.

Four Points Sheraton is located in the quaint town of Kingston, and only a short walk to the waterfront where you can enjoy the beautiful view and walk around town as well. The hotel is very well kept and the staff professional and helpful as would be expected from a Sheraton.

Positives: Sheraton always makes you feel like a good customer and is always very gracious and attentive.

Negatives: We were traveling with small children and felt we had to be quiet (which is sometimes hard with little kids!)

The hotel is fine. We were treated as an inconvenience by security, who wanted to lock up the sauna early simply because we were the only two left in there. They also told me my credit card (a US Discover card) was overdrawn, when in fact a call to Discover showed that, as usual, our balance had been paid in full every month, but the hotel we were staying at (Four Points Sheraton, Kingston) didn't take Discover, and the fellow at the front desk was too uninformed to realize it, even after I asked him POINTEDLY if he was sure they accepted Discover. In short, we were treated poorly and condescendingly by uninformed or lazy hotel personnel, and won't be staying there again.

Positives: Clean, comfortable room, good sauna.

Negatives: Front Desk tried to bill us twice; fitness area closed earlier than promised.

Very nice hotel with great beds and bedding. (Big comfy pillows and duvets.) Only had appetizer and salad at the restaurant (which we took as carry out to our room) but both were really good. Great location in heart of downtown Kingston. Lake Ontario in walking distance.

Positives: Very comfortable beds, big pillows, good shower.

Negatives: Had to pay extra for parking, no complementary breakfast.

The Four Points Hotel is not that easy to locate - mostly due to construction on three of the four surrounding streets. Although not the new kid on the block, its rooms are very clean, tastefully decorated and the beds are comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pool area was quite inviting. Pool water was warm and clear.

Positives: Clean and quiet, comfortable beds, helpful, friendly staff.

Negatives: Tiny toilets - not high enough; hard to maneuver car in underground parking lot and to figure out how to activate "exit' gate.

This is a good hotel for business travelers. There are computer hook-ups in the room and it is very centrally located. There is a gym and swimming pool on the fourth floor of the hotel. The staff and friendly, helpful, and dealt with any request promptly. A very good hotel.

Positives: Friendly staff and great location - very central.

Negatives: It was all good.

Exceeded expectations for the hotel. Fairly new, comfortable beds and kept clean, so it is still very fresh. Great downtown location, good natured staff. Two restaurants, decent pool and exercise room. Parking is $7 below ground, which was convenient, but the only long term option for someone with children, so you have to pay the fee.

Positives: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Comfortable.

Negatives: Was told a crib was in the room already, but it wasn't, but the crib wasn't needed in the end anyway.

Overall, the hotel was in a very convenient location (near the university, downtown, and the lake). The decorations of the lobby were very nice and elegant. The staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. I would love to go there again. It would've been better if they had a fridge in the room, it would more convenient if one was to spend more time in the city.

Positives: The room was spacious, clean, and had internet excess. It also had a nice view.

Negatives: The room did not have a fridge.
