I am a frequent traveler, and out of all my stays, this was, perhaps, the worst. First off, this is a motel, not an inn. Secondly, it is nowhere near Sandy Beach, which is, in fact, a few kilometers down the road.
There was a/c, but when the put the units in, they boarded up the rest of the window, which was at the back, so that the only light came in from the door and front window. It had a very claustrophobic feeling.
This motel is apparently a haven for motorcyclists because all night men and women in big and noisy Harley's were coming and going.
I also spoke with a couple who were living there while working at a fish plant in Cap-Pele. They had come there from Newfoundland to work, but the employees of the motel had tried to tell them to leave when tourist season began, even though they had been promised to have the room for an extended period of time.
I did not stay for breakfast.
