I have been going to Sandy Beach since I was 25 years old. I am now 68 . Never have I taken a trailer and camped, however I shall be doing that for the first time this weekend coming for one week. I will return to this site and give my opinion after the experience. Stay tuned.....

Positives: The beaches are pristine, the water is wonderful, the people are friendly and most of all the park is very clean. The latter being very important to me. The lady in the office never tires of my calls asking questions that comes to my mind every once and a while. She is wonderful !

Negatives: I find the trailers are parked much too close together, however I'm sure I will manage.

My family has been going to Sandy Beach for years. My husbands family is Acadian and they are all from the area, so he grew up going to Sandy Beach and told me so much about it. Now we are taking our daughter there for the first time this summer and I can't wait. The beach is stunning, so warm and steps away. They even let us have our own fireworks on the beach. Would reccommned to anyone that loves French people and the beach. My only camplaint, showers take quarters and there are no trees for shade, so bring a sun shelter!
