Comments: I can't imagine a better place to stay... Since this campsite is literally ON the U.S. - Canadian border, you can actually SEE the line that separates the 2 countries! Also the benefits of being right next to the united states is that when you cross the border to the states, there is a gas station not 2 minutes from the border crossing. This gas station might as well be a supermarket! It has EVERYTHING! cheap gas, good food, and other quality things.. :) anyways, back to the campsite... Shady Lagoon has an amazing view of the mountains, isn't too far from town (where there is an amusement park for the kids :D) and sometimes they hold car showings down by the lake (It is usually held near main street) ANYWAYS.... Back to the CAMPSITE. The camp has a mini playground at the top of the site, and plenty of room for you to park your boats down below, and lots of room for tanning on the beach... They even have a volley ball net for hen you want to bring the kids down to the beach for a swim , or to play volley ball.... The list of good things for Shady Lagoon is endless.... But i only have 1 Request... And this goes straight from me to Dan and Carol... Please, PLEASE replace the dock. Swimming just isn't quite as fun if you can't enjoy a good old DOCK WARS!!!! Oh... Also... This campsite would be A LOT BETTER if you guys allowed dogs... I know at LEAST HALF the campsite would agree with me on this... If i could bring my dog to the site, i would stay there ALL summer! I'm not even joking, my family and i go for only a few weeks at a time because we can't STAND leaving our dog at home.... Just please let the dogs come up to he site.... Or u can have a rule that they can only come up until july 15th... Because thats when every things starts to get a bit more crowded.... And then Re allow dogs from august 15th till.... Whenever.... Thank you guys for your consideration

As the owner/operator of Shady Lagoon Campsite and RV Park
I would like to advise that we are no longer open for overnight camping.
The resort is now fully occupied with seasonal sites.

Comments: This was by far the best campground I have been to. The staff was great the washrooms and showers were very clean and I was totally impressed by the idea of having a fridge to keep our food cold for the whole week!! Can't wait to get to go back. FYI... be sure to book while your there or like me, there might not be a site next year!!!
