Climax Campground is a small, pet-friendly, municipal campground located in the Village of Climax. It features four electric sites in a grassy area with trees shading the east side. Amenities include drinking water, modern washrooms, firepits, picnic tables and a picnic shelter.

Glenburn Regional Park is situated on Highway 376, between Maymont and Sonnigdal, along the North Saskatchewan River. The park is near the site where the Maymont Ferry operated from 1926 to 1975. The Ferry was moved to form a bridge over the creek between the park and golf area.

Silver Lake Regional Park is located 15 kms northeast of Maidstone. The park consists of 260 acres of land with a lake known as Silver Lake. The park operates from middle of April to the middle of October.
