Yorkton is a city located in southeastern Saskatchewan near the Manitoba border. Founded and incorporated in 1882 by a group of settlers from Ontario, it has grown to 15,038 residents as of the 2006 census. The city is bordered by the Rural Municipality of Orkney #244 and the Rural Municipality of Wallace No. 243. I was very happy with my stay in Yorktown. When asked about the different eating establishments they were forthcoming. If I needed anything for my room it was done as quickly as they could. Only thing I would work on for this hotel is the calls that came from my family was not answered right away .....
