I love the location and view from the top of the hotel. I just didn't luck out with a great room on this stay. My last stay at this hotel was excellent
Positives: Location and amenities.
Negatives: It was a low grade room that needed to be brightened.

We were happy to have been booked at the Delta Centerer-Ville and it did not disappoint. From the friendly and helpful bilingual staff to the great view from our suite (and the glass elevator) there were very few negatives to this stay. We noticed no noise during the night, everything was clean and up to the Delta standards I have experienced in the past. Will stay here again.
Positives: The staff were extra helpful with directions and tips to get the most out of Montreal. And oh that comfy bed!
Negatives: The room's bathroom and a few furnishings were tired-looking and in need of an update.

Good location, Breakfast was good, the room smelled of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room, it was very stuffy and the windows did not open, the thermostat did not work and the carpet was dirty with dust bunnies under the bed. Had the basics but would not stay there again.
Positives: Location was good.
Negatives: Room smelled of cigarettes even though it was non-smoking, the room was stuffy , the thermostat did not work the carpet was dirty.

Delta Center Ville in Montreal was an excellent hotel for its location/proximity to attractions such as Old Montreal and Shops on St. Catherines St. Rooms were spacious and clean and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was small.
Positives: Central location close to St Catherines St. shops and Old Montreal; nice rooms.
Negatives: Swimming pool was a bit small and underground parking spaces were tight and difficult to maneuver into for larger vehicles.

The Hotel Delta Centre Ville is a great mid-range hotel centrally located in downtown Montreal. In general, the hotel was clean and well maintained. Like the city, it was generally safe and secure. However, a few things needed updating. The bathroom fixtures were dated and the linens and pillows also need improving (pillows were flat, and comforter was thin).
Positives: Central location, friendly staff, and clean.
Negatives: Things needed to be updated. For example, bathroom mirror was fading out and the tub drain stop was broken.

I do not smoke. When booking in they told me they had me in a smoking room, I said 'no smoking' they told me that would be an upgrade of $40 per day (I was there 5 days). I decided I'd stay in the room, it couldn't be that bad. It was bad. At night, with air conditioner smoke smell filled room. I ended up leaving 3 days into my stay & upon my return home needed to visit Doctor & use ventolin for my asthma (which hadn't acted up in years before this hotel).
Positives: Convenient downtown location.
Negatives: Smoking room; $12/day internet

The hotel parking charge was $20 per night but it lacks available parking space, so I ended up paying $28 in a parking lot not affiliated with the hotel.
Positives: Fairly close to tourist attraction (old Montreal).
Negatives: The hotel parking charge was $20 but no available parking space.

Excellent location on University St. in the heart of the city. Access to Subway system via underground mall/corridors which gives access to most of the downtown areas. Hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. Only drawback was $22 a night parking.
Positives: Very nice. Got upgraded upon arrival.
Negatives: $22 a night parking.

Very good.
Positives: Comfortable beds.
Negatives: We were not informed that its main attraction (revolving restaurant) was closed due to a labor dispute.

The location was very good - a very short walk to Old Montreal and close to the Bonaventure and Square-Victoria Metro stops. The walk to Ste-Catherine street is a longer walk, but I'd been to Montreal many times before and didn't need to frequent there very often. There is a food court a few stories down in the underground city that the Delta is connected to. (The best connection I've had to the underground city, however, is at the Hyatt Regency Montreal). The building itself is a bit dated, but they've done well with trying to keep the interior up to date. The entry foyer/atrium is quite impressive still, and the hallways are bright with what seems to be new carpeting. The renovated room had more "modern" furniture and the bed was quite comfortable. My only issue was the bathroom plumbing and fixtures, which were still on the old side. This seems to be quite common in Montreal from the other hotels I've stayed in there.
Positives: Renovated room; good location; excellent check-in.
Negatives: Some concierge staff not helpful; poor luggage storage.

Had a great stay. Room was beautiful and had a wonderful view of Montreal.
Positives: Location to downtown Montreal was great and the employees were kind and helpful.
Negatives: Parking was too expensive and so was the breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

Easy to find if driving into the city. Within walking distance for sight seeing in the downtown/Old Montreal area. Well equipped gym. Small but nice indoor pool with a outside undeck overlooking the city. Very comfortable King bed with down comforter and pillows. Would stay again.
Positives: Most comfortable bed ever experienced in a hotel.
Negatives: Not enough storage space in bathroom for toiletries and personal items. Better locks on room door.

I enjoyed the stay. I requested to have a non smoking room when I arrived and it was available shortly after. The room was clean, appeared to be newly renovated, and looked very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. He asked if I liked McDonalds. I then went to a busy section near Berri St and found a large amount of people there with numerous nice restaurants and didn't have to wait for seating whatsoever at the restaurant I chose. The hotel was beautiful and would be on my shortlist when I return to Montreal.
Positives: Close to Old Montreal and Downtown area.
Negatives: One of the concierges was rude and snobbish.

Beautiful hotel and great staff. I would stay again. Convenient to downtown Montreal but a little tough getting out of town to the suburbs on business.
Positives: The attitude of the staff and the comfort of the room.
Negatives: Cost of parking $22 day.

I would stay here again. However the level of knowledge on the area of staff was poor. And internet should not be a charge at 3 star upscale hotel. It should always be complimentary.
Positives: The hotel was well located and clean.
Negatives: The hotel staff was not knowledgeable or helpful.

It's fine. I like the Sheraton a little better.
Positives: The pool is nice.
Negatives: It's weird. But the color is too "dark".

Sleeping accommodations weren't adequate for us- didn't need the use of the car because almost everything we wanted to see was walking distance-not enough to do in the hotel for our teens.
Positives: Walking distance to many attractions, affordable.
Negatives: Bigger beds because we were traveling with our teenage kids.
