Helpful staff who weren't knowledgeable. Sparse room with old furnishings. Convenient parking, adequate breakfast.
Positives: Good location.
Negatives: Small room, noisy, poor Internet, old TV.

Quite disappointed with this hotel. The beds were small with very uncomfortable pillows - had a lot of trouble sleeping. The air conditioner and fan were so loud that I had to turn it off (but then it was too hot in the room). The wireless internet didn't work on my floor (and there was no other internet - ridiculous for a modern hotel). The TV was old and of poor quality. Carpets needed to be replaced. Continental breakfast was okay, as was the location, but would definitely not stay here again.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Uncomfortable beds and pillows, no internet, dirty carpets, ridiculously loud AC fan.

Good value for great location. Rooms very small, and hotel often full of partying students. Some people might think that a plus.
Positives: Great location.
Negatives: Room tiny, Long wait for elevators.

My fault, mistake with the dates. Not a hotel I would ever stay at again. The lobby is inviting, but the room was disgusting. No extras at all and the beds were as hard as the floor.
Positives: Not much, no other choice.
Negatives: The room was smaller than my closet and it smelled horrible.

My wife and I checked in and were told there were only smoking rooms. The room given us was an L shaped rooms with two twins beds and the smallest room I have seen in a modern hotel. After complaining we were offered a double room but which reeked of smoke. The room was small, the bathroom tiny. The buffet breakfast was poor. Location was good.
Positives: The location next to Chinatown and near the Place des Arts was good.
Negatives: Small rooms, smoky, hard beds, Tired, generally low quality.

Very disappointed in the size of the room and the fact that it was twin beds which could not even been pushed together. Thought the location was perfect for what we wanted in Montreal. I could not imagine staying there any longer than 1-2 nights not enough space for clothes storage and even the bathroom did not have enough space for all the required toiletries for the weekend. They say they have a fridge in the room but there was not in ours. The front desk person did allow us to check in when we arrived at 10 am which was just wonderful after a long drive and was very much appreciated.
Positives: The location was excellent close to all entertainment & facilities.
Negatives: Most rooms offered twin bed, not what you want on a weekend away with your partner.

The price was great considering how close we were to the downtown district. The complimentary breakfast was good.
Positives: The location was close to attractions.
Negatives: The room was a bit small.

Great location tiny room tiny bathroom. Overall over priced. And didn't like the hidden parking cost.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Size of room, carpet was from the middle ages.

We had not been to Montreal for over forty years and looked forward to re-exploring the city. The hotel location could not be better for someone like us ¿ It is within walking distance of Place des Arts, Chinatown is right around the corner with excellent restaurant, the Old Port and harbor are an easy stroll. To get further a field, the Metro (subway) is nearby. This hotel made our stay extremely enjoyable and I would recommend it highly.
Positives: The desk staff was extremely helpful, recommending restaurants, tour buses, events, etc.
Negatives: A tiny quibble: the bathroom fan was unusually noisy.

Very clean, basic accommodations, with excellent continental breakfast. Rooms are very small, much smaller than I've seen elsewhere, but perfect for a single or couple. Free Wi-Fi access was slow and unreliable, and the remote for the TV didn't work, but they brought us a new one right away. Nice location, very near some great restaurants in Chinatown and in between two Metro stops. Parking was very affordable, but wasn't clear how much it cost or how it worked prior to arriving ($13 Canadian a night, and you use your room key to access the underground garage), but once there it was very secure and handy. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Not recommended for families, as the rooms are just too small, but great for anyone just looking for a nice, clean place to stay.
Positives: Clean, basic accommodations with a very friendly staff and excellent location.
Negatives: It was not clear in advance how the parking worked, or how much it cost.

Great location and price. Rooms are small, but all in all a great deal.
Positives: The staff were very friendly and willing to speak English.
Negatives: The room was quite small and there was no bathtub in the room.
