My Mother's Country Inn is a bed & breakfast located in Hunter River.

The Inn is located on what was, at the turn of the century, a hub of activity. It was not just a working farm but also included a saw and grist mill, a general store and a blacksmith. The property remains one of the few original homesteads in rural PEI. The setting inspires a stroll through the 50 acres of farm fields, rolling hills, woodlands and streams. The Old Mill Pond welcomes guests along a country lane which leads to a large and spacious farmhouse.

For additional privacy we offer the options of an executive three bedroom cottage with complete privacy; large bath with walk-in glass shower, whirlpool tub; eat in kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Wrap-around deck with river view has gas bar-b-que. Totally renovated, tastefully furnished. Or our one bedroom cottages with complete kitchen, eat in space, living room with day bed, television. Patio doors lead to private deck overlooking the pond. Also fully renovated, the fresh air and beauty of the Island are just a step outside your own door.

The Inn offers numerous accommodation options. Each room has a private bath ensuite with a whirlpool tub. While modern comforts have been added through renovations, the unique character of a Prince Edward Island farmhouse remains intact. Large windows provide wonderful views of your rural surroundings.

We believe in comfort and luxury with a European flair. Our rooms offer a private oasis to rest and relax after a day of touring and playing. The deluxe honeymoon suite features a large sitting area with a fireplace, a king size bed, walk-in closet and colour television with cable.
