The idea of going to the trailer is to enjoy yourself. Be respectful, but enjoy yourself. The owners at Trillium Woods to everything but make you feel at home. They watch your every move. NO radios allowed. If you have friends over, they constantly drive by in their golf cart and tell you to be quiet. They are bias, break their own rules, and are extremely unpleasant. It's a shame because it is a nice park. Very bad business people. It shows as majority of the park is empty throughout the year.
Positives: Clean, nice park, typically nice people in the campground
Negatives: Again, the owners make it very difficult to enjoy. The bad unfortunately outweighs the good.

We found sight to be well serviced ,beautifully wooded and clean.Staff where friendly, professional, well informed about local attractions. also helpful in answering questions and getting us full service for our 23ft prowler camper and internet hookup. My wife and I found the area quiet, private and yet fully accessable to trails and facilities.
Positives: Nearby village of Oliphant, is a friendly place near beaches. Slightly further away (about 15/20min is the town of Wiarton in one direction and Sauble beach in another.
Negatives: Internet connection and cell phone service was weak in some of the areas of campground. Only neg i can think of and we where there approximately a week.

The campsite is very quiet and the male half of the owners is a very friendly gent but the female is only friendly till she gets your money then she turns anal as another review says. Pray you don't own a standard car/truck because you will be yelled at to "SLOW DOWN" even though you're not even touching the gas pedal.
Positives: Quiet as any graveyard.
Negatives: Very crappy lady running the campsite.

The female partner in the ownership is rathher anal. It's all business to her. She does not make you feel welcome and is more interested in following her "rules". Often yells at you to slow down when your are barely clocking 10km. Laundry facilities are from 10am-6pm when is anyone supposed to get their laundry done?
Positives: Park has large wooded sites and it is resonably priced.
Bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
Negatives: Already stated. If you can deal with the woman that acts like your disappointed mom.

My family enjoyed our stay at Trillium Woods. We tent-camped and had a very nice site right next to the sandy beach. The moonlight shining off the lake was amazing every night! Kids played on the beach and swam, some people fished off the dock and there are canoes and boats to rent. We found the washrooms very clean and the whole campground very well maintained. The campers who stay at Trillium Woods respect it and help to maintain the common areas. We liked the fact that it was quiet with every other family camping around us respecting the quiet night rules and it was easy to get to sleep before 11 as everyone went to bed then. If you are looking for a campground to have a party or be loud and very sociable this is not the place for you. The rates are very reasonable and the provisions supplied in the campstore were well-priced - firewood was $5.00 for a wheelbarrow full and a bag of ice was $2.50. It is a 10 minute drive to Sauble Beach and less than that to drive to Sauble Falls Provincial Park. We enjoyed our 3 night stay and would recommend it to others.
