Unfortunately I had not seen this review before booking, and even if I had, I would have been misled by the pictures on the web site.
Positives: There is nothing positive about this location except the quietness of the location.
Negatives: There were 4 vehicles in our group and all of us were travelling with the guide of GPSs. On arrival at the coordinates, we found ourselves in the middle of nowhere. So we had to call the owner to get further information to proceed. We traveled about another 1 mile into the bush to get to the location. By the way, the if you like jungle trips, then this is the place.
The building is another serious problem. It is dirty, dusty and there was a bucket and mop sitting right in middle of the living room. The 4 women in the group had to clean the place to be able to sleep the night. There is construction going on and from the construction material on site, the whole building is raised on used old material. Doors, windows, lamps, switches pretty much everything. The building is dirty with mouse droppings all over the place. The outside area is so muddy that you could easily confuse it with an off-road track. Bush all over the place. By the way, we took our off road bikes on the trip, and guess what, the bikes never got of the truck. We were told we could take our boat along. Guess what, the closest launch area was about 10 miles away and it is not linked to the "pond" you see on the web site. If I had to list all negatives, it will be on and on and on, so to simplify, this is the worst place to be. Don't waste your money. I bet you will feel better even staying at home than being at Sams place.

This place is a total mislead! It looks nothing like what you see in the picture!
House was extremely dirty, dust in every single corner, bins full of garbage, fridge was dirty and smelt awful. There was construction going on on site which makes it very unsafe. The water in this place was also dirty. Oh yeah and last but not least there is no tv, and no wifi. Save yourself some money and disappointment and go somewhere else.

STAY AWAY!!!! This place is a MAJOR RIP-OFF!!! It looks like its heaven in the pictures, but it's really a poorly built "cottage from hell" full of small rooms, dark staircases and pieced together from an explosion of left over windows and doors. It's situated on a piece of land that is stripped clear of all the trees and has construction stuff laying all around. The "50 acres" are WAY behind it in another area of land, there are neighbours all around you and the golf course is 40 km away!!! Spend your money wisely and rent something else to avoid true disappointment.
