A great value for the price. The staff was great. The room was clean. It was not noisy at night. To save the extra money was worth the drive. (about 20 minutes away)

Positives: The staff was great. Rob was very helpful, the lady cleaning the lunch room helped me even though the lunch room was supposed to be closed.

Negatives: Far from Niagara Falls, but price compensated for that.

I ended up not staying at hotel due to rooms were smoking rooms upstairs with king beds. I specifically requested two non-smoking floor rooms due to travelers mobility impaired condition. What a waste of money. I had to go down the street to another hotel to find the rooms I needed.

Positives: Location

Negatives: I requested two nonsmoking bottom double rooms, and instead got two smoking king upstairs.

I would not recommend this hotel for anybody! It was the worst experience in my life.

The hotel rooms are ok, the breakfast is not up to the mark and most importantly the staff is horrible, they did not clean the room and refused to accept their mistake, I would never go back there again.

After a ten hour drive to Canada, my husband and I expected to relax and enjoy our stay. To our surprise, the Comfort Inn was a dump. Too tired to find another hotel, we decided to stay the night and find another hotel in the morning for the next two nights.

Positives: We did not like one thing about the Comfort Inn/Welland.

Negatives: There were trash cans all around the outside of the hotel overflowing with trash for two days before it was disposed!

They served breakfast that I did not have any choice of food (sliced bread, butter, jelly, apple, juice and coffee). Bread toaster is broken. If it will not toast it, it will burn it. Staff are very rude when they speak to customers not just to me. They don't smile and they don't greet people. when I entered the room, I can smell molds, the bottom of shower curtain was very dirty. Hallway smelled moldy too.

Positives: Convenient to other stores, restaurants.

Negatives: Staff was not friendly and accommodating, hotel is not clean.

In Comfort Inn, we got double bed + microwave + Refrigerator + Breakfast at good price, excellent stay with family. We miss all in our 3.5 rating hotels.

The breakfast room was a hotel room that was transformed into a breakfast room, and the selection of food was very limited. But it was fine, all we needed was to sleep there.

Positives: Right next to Tim Horton's!

Extremely friendly staff and guests who stepped forward to help when it appeared to be needed. Willing to listen to suggestions and take action on them. I would be glad to return.

From the start the staff was not friendly at all, did not even make eye contact with me during the whole check in process, did not even tell us where our rooms were, after a long trip, tired walking with bags up and down we asked a cleaning lady that with a stern look just pointed up the stairs.

Positives: At least most of it was clean.

Negatives: Beds horrible like sleeping on cardboard, the coffee maker was dirty from previous user and the only mug in the room was dirty too.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Neat and clean place and good atmosphere. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Price is octet distance is 13 miles and takes 20 minutes to falls so if you want to enjoy more, its better to stay close to Niagara falls.

I would not stay here again. When we arrived it took 10 minutes for a desk attendant to show up. Our room smelled like a bar (very bad cigarette odor) and there was a sign on the bathroom counter that said this room had been cleaned and was for non-smokers. There were flies in our room that landed on us all night long. There was a sliding glass door that went out to a patio on the ground level and there was no way to secure the door. I expected more from the Motel Chain, but I think that in the future if I am attempting to spend less money I will go to a family-owned private establishment.

Positives: No elevators. I liked being on first floor.

Negatives: Staff not attentive, room smelled, glass sliding door to outside.

Farther away from the falls than I expected, but it was kind of nice to get out of the bustle. Good restaurant across the street. Staff was friendly when they were available. Heard other people staying there saying the internet wasn't working, but we weren't using ours.

An acceptable geographic location if traveling to Niagara Falls, but facility not up to Comfort Inn standards. Check in time was about 10 min, furnishings were dated, and room was disappointing. Room had water damage in ceiling that was poorly repaired, bed was not comfortable, and the sheets had not been changed or cleaned. Should not expect anything more than just a place to sleep.

Positives: Fairly easy to find, nice to have breakfast, non-smoking room.

Negatives: Water damage in room, bed was dirty.

Let's see. Snotty desk manager at check in. Dusty, old, used fast food wrappers behind dresser. Black mold around bath tub drain. Wireless internet almost unusable. No newspaper in morning. Puny breakfast. No way is this a two star hotel. I've been in Motel 6s that were way better than this hotel.

Positives: It was located near many businesses.

Negatives: Just about everything.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic (toast, bagels, cereal) but well stocked. Rooms were clean and met the needs of our party (2adults and 2 children).

The hotel was dark and dingy. The carpets needed shampooing. The windows needed cleaning. The bedspread had little holes. I will not stay at another comfort inn. Very disappointing.

Positives: I liked the location in relationship to the wedding I had to attend.

Negatives: The patio doors were filthy, the room smelled musty, the carpets were dirty, I wore my shoes at all times.
