This is such a big surprise. We found Al and Denise to be very friendly, helpful and conscientious. Very informative on how to use our new trailer. You know what they say "People make the Park" We met some wonderful folks during our stay and would love to come back for the season.
Beautiful Beach and Grounds
Positives: I love to see the rules and that they are enforced.
Negatives: thought it was expensive

I wish I had read these reviews before being screwed by the management team this past week. I have been camping for many years and am ready to call it quits after the nightmare these two power-hungry, dishonest and unethical people have put myself and my family through. Do NOT ever purchase or camp here. You will regret it. If this review even saves one fmaily from the horror of this place, I will be happy!
Positives: Beach appears beautiful but is full of broken glass and stagnant water full of goose droppings.
Really struggling to find one thing to write here.
Negatives: The entire experience!

Negatives: management

The park is great, the management is not. Horrible personal skills and they can be very harrassing. People have witnessed them yelling and treating people like dirt. Differen rules for different people. If you are about to retire, this would be the place. It is not family oriented, in fact, the children's playgound is a hazard - very unsafe. The water is littered with broken glass. Nothing has been done to the park this year. No children activities, a half-fast pavillion and a whole lot of grumpy tenants. I can't wait to leave!
Negatives: Horrible management. I've been told that that prior to parkbridge taken over, this use to be a wonderful place. Since then they have lost over 20 tenants. Bad management makes for a bad park! I would not recommend this park.

One of the best camping experiences we have had with our family. We visited friends over the years and finally purchased a trailer. We have no regrets the staff keep the place clean and well maintained. We have spent countless hours at the beach this summer.
Positives: Beautiful beach

The grounds were scruffy and unkempt. The grass looked like it was weeks since receiving any attention, if at all this year, The office had a sign for business hours that clearly said they were open, but they were not. This is poor business practices, very poor. They must have too much income, but that will change soon enough if they keep going like they are. Big disappointment and annoyance.
Positives: location
Negatives: Poor management, not managing, just collecting.

Inherited a property in this complex. From the begining the management was nasty, intrusive and rude. They talk to people like they are dirt and seem to go out of their way to be unplesant. I don't know what other Parkbridge locations are like, but if this is an example I don't want to find out. If the owners continue to let people like this get away with their nasty outlook, then you know it comes from the top and rolls downhill. What a shame that a beautiful place like this is ruined by two people. Before Parkbridge bought the park people were happy and not harrased. There has been a huge turover of residents since the take over.
Positives: Beautiful location and cool breezes of the lake. Quiet well maitained park. No roudies no drunks no atvs no barking dogs.
Negatives: Management-expensive-no pool-no rec hall-dusty dirt roads-strict selective rules- no public garbage cans

First year at the park and owning a trailer, wonderful neighbours; everyone could not be any nicer. Love the sunsets and being on Georgain Bay. Have planted flowers
and a few dwart trees and tried to grow some more grass. Our lot and tailer feel like a summer get away.
Positives: So many things to do near by Churches, bike trails, boating, fishing,Saint Marie Amoung the Hurons and Wye Marsh.
Negatives: Have nothing to compare it by since this is our first
trailer park experience. The only thing that we find a concern is the low water where the boats are docketed. You have to be very carefull when leaving the docket and the small river out to Gerogian Bay.

Management can make or break your stay and in this case they definitely BREAK it. Very unhappy people with no people skills at all. In fact they can be quite nasty at times. It is a shame because the location is fantastic, despite not having any facilities that are usually found in most parks (store, recreation centre, pool). We have found a lot of the residents are very unhappy and even more are planning to look for another park to move to. The park definitely needs a lot of TLC, certainly doesn't give you a warm fuzzy feeling at all. There was an attempt to have a childrens program going for a short time, but the girl who was running it had no patience and evidently didn't really like children. They shouldn't attempt this type of thing unless they can find someone who genuinely likes children. Overall I think that if the owners of the park could find decent managers who didn't harass the residents it would be a great place to stay.
Positives: Proximity to GTA
Great Beach and Swimming
Beautiful Sunsets
Lots to do in the area.
Negatives: MANAGEMENT
Needs cleaning up
Lack of facilities

camped there for 10yrs, was great ay one time for kids, etc, had activities but we has a made up a social club to pay for kids day, fishing derbys, the end of season dance bused to and bused back to park, so no one drove impaired...people friendly (most) management back in the day good & willing to help improve your campsite. the sites small, beach at 1st great & kids had play area..
Positives: was enjoyable when we 1st got there, fun camp fires..lots for kids, close to shopping if you had forgot something just walk into victoria harbour...boating great once you could get out of hogs river/swamp short run over to boselia island/giants tume etc....for pinics and clean clear water for swimming
Negatives: then along came the big model homes, which took over the park made beach area smaller, to sit & watch kids play in water, the water level dropped, it was not safe zebra mussels, beer bottles,glass,nails/was tol gettin a pool NOT, parents took out glass in water etc, the big model home owners thought of us as no bodies, they owned it gave comments to keep off their property (walk way) out to point that was set up for all to use, low water caused problems for boats, cannot stop nature.. it was so low no boats one yr, the lot size small & owners shoved to many in to the point you can reach out of your trailer to hand a coffee to the neighbour. the trees have over grown trees grow, so why plant way to many, it is one big shade tree, not able to get sun on campsites, (most) its not set up for people to be allowed to camp there all yr round but they do!!! in model units Im not sure if the law has changed the rule since we camped there... the new owners are rude to losing people who had been there up to 10/20yrs, so what does that tell you..

It's a sad day for us today. We left the park after 7 years. The ONLY reason we left was management!!!!In looking around the park today, so many have left already, and I know of others that are leaving shortly. THEY have all had it with the management too. In fact a petition was talked about, to get rid of them. New residents beware; they will be nice and promise all kinds of great things, then they'll turn on you. Once you cross them, they will have you on the hit list. They are less then honest and upfront. e.g.They'll charge you to cut your grass, but not actually cut it. Don't take my word for it, keep reading, you'll see. They claim they want people to come to "have fun". FUN is actually the last thing they allow you to have. Watch yourselves if you're already in the park,,
Positives: The only positive for this park now, is the beautiful sunset, which would be beautiful to watch from a clean beach.
Negatives: I could list a whole lot more, but you get the gist!

Came to visit friends, as we hve every year, that have been there for many years. Over the years, people seem to less and less happy. Our friends will be leaving this year because of the inflexible, and nasty management. We witnessed it ourselves. Management screamed at our son for being, maybe, 2 feet on the lawn. I mean, he screamed at him, and shook his finger in his face. The poor kid was so embarressed, he sat in the car for the rest of the night. Would a warning not have sufficed to start with? Anyway, in talking to others in the park, many, many people are dissatified. So why stay and pay for a place, where the management only succeed in making people miserable?!?!
Positives: Beautiful sunsets.
Negatives: All of the above, plus, the beach could look nicer. There used to be a dock in the water, and loungers on the beach. What happend to them??

Have had a trailer in this park for several years. Many friends in the park and the area which is what keeps us here. But if you have children, this is not the place for you. No facilities...not even the dock in the bay.
Positives: Sunsets, great neighbours
Negatives: Staff, too many rules...being able to have music playing 'til midnight on Friday and Saturday would be nice....that's what we camp for.

Our experience with the park was wonderful except for the past few years. We had a few management changes that caused alot of disgrunted tennants. We found that with the new management there were many unnecessary rules. Adults were treated as children, lack of security on the premises. Unnecessary comments made to tennants without any just cause. Over all the park deteriorated over the years. At one time the park had a waiting list and today half the park is empty. I think this says it all. We are sorry that the park has come down to this. I think new management should be in the works. If you are looking for a fun park this is not the one. Also the comment above from 09/19/2009 I'm confident was left by the management as I haven't spoken to a single person in the park that shares the same opinion.
Positives: Management was great prior to current
Negatives: see above.

We have stayed for many years and managment has deteriorated tremendously in this time. We will leave this year for the first time in 10 years.
Positives: Great location.
Nice sunsets.
Nice public bathrooms.
Negatives: Poor management, poor customer service.
Water level too low.
Extreme regulations.
No pool.

This park is the nicest park we have seen on Georgian Bay. It has a beautiful beach, playground, volleyball court, boat lauch. The managers have been great and have done everything that they say they will do. Wow!!!!

We stayed at this park for many years and enjoyed the majority of our stay....until the new managment showed up. At first I thought they were great but then their real personalities showed up. We were constantly treated like children and spoken to un-respectfully. Rules were way beyond park managements authority. Their customer service abilities were very poor aswell. I think I would return but never with the same management.
Positives: Promissing beach, excellent sunsets.
Negatives: Management is extreamly poor. No pool,

We owned a trailer right on the river- the park is beautiful but management will destroy any fun you might think of having. There are permanent residents that are quite old and miserable as well- we could not wait to sell our unit and in fact took a loss. There are also hunters that come and shoot geese right on the beach- we have been told this is perfectly legal. That is disgusting.
