Very disappointing, would never stay again. We arrived at 1:30, room not ready (okay because check-in time was 3 PM), front desk said they'd call when it was ready, but no call. No linens or pillows for sofa bed even though room was reserved for 4. Bed of nails would have been more comfortable than sofa bed. Could hear phone ringing and people coughing in adjoining rooms. Very poorly managed driveway area. First really bad experience at a Sheraton.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: No linens for sofa bed, no call when room ready, sofa bed torturous, walls paper thin.

If you want to be in downtown Toronto, this is a terrific location, well-appointed and well-staffed.

Positives: Friendly staff, conveniently located, comfortable and quiet rooms.

Negatives: The room was too warm - 75 - and couldn't be cooled easily - time of year perhaps.

I had a very enjoyable 2-night stay; however, I encountered some maintenance issues. The toilet in my room continued to run, despite my reporting it to the front desk the next day. Maintenance adjusted the toilet, but the problem continued after the first flush. I learned to fix it myself. In addition, the electronic thermostat was not working properly. It was extremely hot. After calling the front desk the first night and they sent maintenance to fix it, but the attempt was unsuccessful. The window was opened and an osculating fan provided. I found it still too hot. I was going to request a new room; however, it seemed too much trouble to move at the time. I was very happy with my stay despite these inconveniences; based on the room rate. I would have been very dissatisfied if I had paid the full rate.

A downtown location that is near many business section of Toronto. Some staff were accommodating and friendly while others were not. I would expect my shower to work in a four star hotel, but it ran only cold water and the food with room services was very salty and expensive.

Positives: One staff person at desk and the doorman.

Negatives: Registration person would not change my room the first night and the gentleman then agreed to change my room but then the next person wanted to charge.

Everything was fine, except for the fact that the room was too hot overnight and there was no hot water in the morning.

Positives: Staff

Negatives: No hot water. Room was too hot.

Negatives: The air conditioning in our room was not working.

We complained to the manager about our room in the morning. For our inconvenience he gave us free parking for the night which was $45.00 plus tax.

Positives: We liked the hotel and have stayed here before. But this time it was not a good expenience.

Negatives: Poor room location and the room was not nice.

Overall an excellent experience at the Sheratan. Staff were for the most part welcoming and helpful.

Positives: We were given a complimentary breakfast.

Negatives: Long walk to our tower elevators from check in area, slow elevators.

Convenient to the metro Toronto area. Everything is within walking distance. Will stay here whenever I get the chance.

Positives: Super convenient location.

Negatives: Expensive parking.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Unfortunately, the amenities were dirty, the club floor didn't offer quality food, (it was stale day after day and we saw mold). The concierge was unknowledgeable about the attractions and we found out later that they sold advanced tickets to many attractions that we were not offered. As well they could not help us find a late night location that served food, we arrived well into the night too late for room service, but yet they could not direct us to a 24 hour pizza or Chinese service. We ended up walking and finding one that said they serviced the hotel all the time and was surprised the hotel could not give us their number.

Positives: Very convenient location.

Negatives: Concierge was unknowledgable.

Beds are getting sunken spots in them.

Positives: View of CN tower.

Negatives: Did not have a mini fridge to store food and drinks, poor directions in hallways

I would not consider this a 4 star hotel, although the rooms were large and clean and the staff was very helpful- some of the halls and public spaces were a bit worn and I don't care for convention hotels. They should be in their own separate category. The location was good and safe. I also could have gotten the same rate from the hotel website and i booked mine on what was supposedly 60% off. That is irritating.

Positives: The staff were really friendly, the water pressure in the shower- excellent, beds were very comfortable.

Negatives: Would not consider this a 4 star hotel.

In general terms, it was very good. A lot a places to visit nearby. And for loving shoppers like myself, the Eathon Centre was one block away, very convenient.

Positives: It was huge, very well located, access to the path and with a lot of stores and restaurants nearby.

Negatives: Very crowded at all times. Food on trays outside of the rooms. Cleaning service need to improve. Although, rooms were cleaned.

Excellent hotel stay, been here twice through Priceline.com. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Close to all attractions in Toronto.

Positives: Staff was very helpful and provided great extra service.

Negatives: Fan in bathroom was loud if door left open, no on/off switch.

We were not impressed with the 2 double beds in the rooms & they were unable to give us two other rooms with larger beds. Also we did not get much sleep on the last night due to the noise. At checkout when we spoke of our sleepless night the staff was very kind we were offered a free night.

Positives: At checkout they were apoligetic for inconveniences.

Negatives: Tower we stayed in was not very clean and the rooms were very small.

The Sheraton Hotel met our expectations. Great location! Clean, lighting was adequate.

Positives: Close to the path system underground. Close to Union Station if you take the GO Train. Free computer/Internet in lobby.

Negatives: Allergic to feathers, bed was crowded with feather pillows, was told 2 were not feather, had to strip them all out of the pillow cases to check!

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 22 Nov 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

Lovely hotel. Location is super, and the staff was helpful. We were not informed at check in there was the club on the top floor with a free breakfast as well as afternoon free appetizers. We just happened to go up and discovered. We had a meal at the restaurant located in hotel and were given a bill that did not reflect the actual exchange rate, but rather a much inflated bill with an deceptive exchange rate written upon bill. Felt that was very dishonest when I went to Google and put the amount into an up to date currency converter and discovered we had been deceived. Excellent bed with high quality linen, but no mini fridge in the room. Great view from 32nd floor.

Positives: The view and the top floor club w/ free breakfast/ appetizers.

Negatives: We had to pay additional to get a king size bed.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 08 Nov 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

When booking the room we had asked for a king size bed, but once we got to the hotel they had sold out of rooms with king beds. Our hotel room at the Hampton Inn in North Bay was just as nice if not nicer.

Positives: The location was very close to the Canon theater. I guess it was the location of the hotel that pleased us.

Negatives: Our room was very small and needed updating.

Great downtown location and beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly, but we waited almost half an hour to get checked in when we arrived that evening (only 2 people ahead of us). Very loud guests all through the night and a fire alarm at 7am (can't really blame the hotel for those things though). Very nice hotel, but didn't really having a relaxing stay.

Positives: Great location & bedding.

Negatives: Seemed full of obnoxious partiers.

Negatives: Couldn't find an information about hotel folder in the room.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 18 Jul 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

One of my favorite hotels due to downtown location and underground connection to Eaton Center and shops on the path up to Union Station. Perfect for bad weather. Management very responsive to problems I had with the room and deducted about 25% off my bill. Attractive lobby and sitting area. Busy but in a pleasant way.

Positives: Great location - connected to shopping mall, no need to go outside.

Negatives: Shower was leaky and bathtub did not drain properly. However, staff attended to these problems promptly.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 16 Jul 2010 rated 4 out of 10.

They were understaffed for the amount of visitors they had there. It needs a great deal of repairs. The carpets were dirty with stains on them, housekeeping left dirty dishes in the hallway for days, and the bell tower from the city hall is next door and rings all night. I would not stay there again.

Positives: Walking distance to most theaters.

Negatives: Bell tower rining all night and dirty carpets.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and had excellent experiences prior to this stay. The problem on this occasion was excessive and loud noises coming from a renovation taking place in the room above ours. Overall, I am very disappointed in this experience.
