Sunsets, however, are only one of the scenes worth viewing. The car ferry, the ChiCheemaun, backs out and turns broadside almost directly in front of the deck on its daily trips back and forth to Manitoulin Island . A wide variety of watercraft traverse these waters, and the islands make a rugged backdrop to the watery vista.
