Hotel was clean and in a great located situated right on the harbor about a 6 minute stroll to the main part of town.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Only minor complaint was you could hear a bit of noise from adjoining rooms but that is typical of a older hotel.

Beds were comfortable and the room had all the amenities, tv, coffee maker, hair dryer etc that you would expect. Great balcony to sit on with your morning coffee, or have a drink at night.

General experience was good

Positives: Beds are comfortable, rooms updated and spacious. Great staff. Pricing is within the range of the rest of the area at this time of year.

Negatives: Bedsheet had old blood stain (streak) on it.... looked like not cleaned or bleached at the laundry. That was off-putting. Breakfast was very good, supper not so much, the turkey tasted as if frozen and then re-heated. We went to Grandview for supper on the Thursday night. Over all experience was fine and I would recommend staying there for the rooms, the staff and the breakfast and eat elsewhere during the day and evening.
