Great family oriented campground. Lots of activities including kayak and paddle boat rentals, two very clean swimming pools, soccer field, shuffle board, clean beach and long-week-end organised kiddie crafts, tennis tournaments and sand castle contests.
Good all round security and no tolerance for punky behaviours such as noisy parties, drunkenness or other disturbances.
As for the other's review of the restaurant....it has nothing to do with the park. Two different owners/operators.
The campground is not affiliated with the park.

Positives: Lots of activities for any age in a relaxing, civilized, peaceful PRIVATE gated property. Very large bags of firewood (only $8.00) brought to your campsite by a delivery driver. Clean washrooms and showers. Friendly residents in the gorgeous trailer park area. A real small town community feel ... just an hour north of Toronto.

Negatives: Minimum stay required for long week-ends. No (cheaper) small un-serviced tent sites. Cancellation terms are restrictive and costly.

Stopped by for lunch at the Cedar Beach Grill.

Positives: Nice view of the lake.

Negatives: Food is the worst we have ever been served. Never going back to the grill. Floor looked like it had never been vacuumed. Service was brutally slow. Charged us full price even after complaining.
