This is my first year with the trailer so not a lot of experience to compare to. I found this to be a great park. Very clean, quiet and the people, even the owner, very friendly. Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from....the owner stopped for a chat when I was getting ready to leave. She was very nice. All parks have rules. Quiet time at 11pm. No firewood from outside the county because of the ash borer bug, which is understandable.
It's too bad there's only 9 transient sites but we were lucky enough to get two sites booked two weeks before we went. The price is good for full hook up. Great things to do for kids too. I would recommend and return if I'm down that way again.
Positives: Clean, child friendly, fairly quiet.
Negatives: None really. 5 minutes to Port Riwan and about 15 to Turkey point. Peoples' dogs barking but that's fairly normal.

We were first time campers to the park on September 30, October 1 and 2, 2017. We camped with another couple that it was their first time camping there as well and the other couple are frequent flyers to the camp. This campground is a hidden gem and I'm so very glad we found it. The owners are very nice people and the seasonal campers are that was as well.
Very much family focus and lots of stuff for the children to do (some was already closed for the season)
Definitely going to return again I'm sure of it .

This trailer park is very lovely and clean, however, i would expect that in June the pool would be open for ths kids to swim in. I dont care if you dont want to pay to heat it, that's the cost of doing business.

Clean, pool to small, need a wading pool and splash pad. Owners rude and intimidating. They have a nice park
Positives: Clean, nice lots, pool clean
Negatives: Pool small, the hydro is not very good and doesn't seem to be enough and the seasonal people pay for it. Hydro needs fixed

Property is really quite nice
Positives: Kids had fun at the park. Pool is pretty small for the size of the park which is what I had paid for. Pool says 45 people however there was a lot more than that however super clean like the rest of the park.
Negatives: Management and owners need a lesson in people skills. Because of that we won't be back. My friends wrote this info. I am sending it as they don't have a computer.

There really isn't much to say bad about the park itself. Very clean, well kept and has playground and pool. However, the owners are exceptionally rude and try to run a tight ship based on intimidation and rudeness. We went there with a family of four, meeting with my brother and his son and having a 67th for our mother (they only came for a couple of hours). In this time we treated poorly from check in to check out. Our children are ages 7 to 3 and do not make a peep. We were stared down, abruptly spoken to and plain yelled at. We were never noisy and since we had heard of their reputation of being 'Nazis' prior to going, we were over-the-top friendly and respectful. It Made no difference. These are just awful people. I will go back, only when the park is no longer in their care. Too bad, it is a nice place.
Positives: Nicely kept grounds with playpark and pool.
Negatives: Horribly ran by extremely rude people.

Very nice campground aside from the owners. These people seem to believe that intimidation and rudeness are proper business tools when enforcing the rules of their park. For example, be prepared to drive 10 km or less through the park, which of course is a great rule anywhere, difference here, even though you are driving l0 or less be prepared to be stared down by the owners when driving and yelled at by some jerk off in a permanent site with a blue mustang, at the end of the RV camping road. I take my 8 year old camping every year and I have no issues with the park itself but as long as it remains under this ownership, I will never be back.
Positives: clean, kid friendly
Negatives: owners

The property is very clean and other people in park a very friendly. Washrooms are clean and always hot water for showers. Close to lake easy to get to Port Rowan, Simcoe
Lots are nice size
Positives: location, clean, have good rules relating to pets, speed of vehicles in park. Kid friendly park in general. Music off at 11 although should be 12 on Weekends. There is a good level of enforcement of the rules
Negatives: Owners can be intimidating, at times not to friendly, They yell at people in park they could use some customer service training.

Very clean, no garbage on sites found out you are not allowed to bring out side area fire wood that may have bad bugs, that will eat good growing trees. We met a family that has been their for 30 years, George & Beartha they allways have had a good time. We played at the horse shoes swimming for a good sunny day. tanned BBQ had a great time.
