See negatives. I was a seasonal camper for a few years and my grandmother before that.

Positives: Lake Mindemoya is very clean and because it is fairly shallow, warms up early in the season.

Negatives: Owners pick and choose who they like. If you are not a white, traditional family, you may be out of luck. Made our days miserable and finally forced us out. Adding insult to injury, they have an arbitrary process of deciding whether or not you can sell your site with camper/deck. I was told I could not sell as it was “too old” and would have to remove the trailer from the park within a few weeks, or they would do so. I left behind thousands of dollars worth of beach toys, gardening equipment without reimbursement. There was nothing wrong with my trailer, and had seen other trailers in very poor condition sold with owner’s permission.
Also, would pick and choose whose grass/shrubs were too long, cut them, leave the mess of trimmings, and send a $100 invoice. This for a 10 minute job.
Very narrow minded, rude, snotty owners. Seems most seasonal campers are too scared to stand up to them, so much like society, side with the bully and act like they are the greatest. It’s laughable. Could be such a wonderful place with the right owners, willing to put some money into it to justify the outrageous seasonal fees. Their fees are on par with campgrounds with up to date washroom facilities, amenities such as swimming pools, walking trails etc.
