The service was below my expectations. When I checked in I was not told what room number I was staying in or directed to the elevators. Later on, I asked the front desk to call a cab for me and was met with slight attitude. I returned to my room at 3:30am that night. I had read that room service was 24 hrs, with a limited menu between 11am and 6am. When I phoned to ask for room service I was told that room service was not available. I said that I had read that room service was available 24 hrs and at that point the staff member said that pizzas only were available. I requested a pizza and was told that they would have to find out if the kind I requested was available. Fortunately it was available, and it was delicious but I was not impressed with the effort it took to get it.

Positives: Nice decor, and clean.

Negatives: The staff were a little unhelpful and the shuttle bus is not on demand.

Although,<BR/>I must admit that the hotel was clean; its the smile and seemingly happy status of the staff that attracted me. They same as if they either cared about their jobs or were treated well by management. which made it a comfortable environment for all.

Positives: Staff were extremely courteous, happy, and kind.

Negatives: Paying for Internet services.

Hotel was great, very clean and luxurious, very soft linens and bedding. It was quiet and I wasn't expecting a Marriott by the airport to be so nice, it was a 4 star hotel. Only bad thing was paying $20 for 1 night of parking which the lot was barely empty.

Positives: Surprised at how nice the room was. Seems like it was newly renovated and very clean. For a Marriott I was impressed.

Negatives: The restaurant service was bad and when I picked up food to take to my room, there were no napkins, or utensils or condiments provided.

I really liked the room and that the crib was set up ahead of time. Very nice touch. The room was large and very clean. Check in staff was<BR/>friendly and efficient. The hotel shuttle depot was very difficult to find upon arrival, but this goes for all the hotel shuttles. Also, I recommend asking what the shuttle looks like. I had difficulty recognizing it, but then again I was very tired. Also, keep in mind when going back to the airport to leave ample time as the shuttle stops and picks up guests at two other hotels, then goes to terminal 3 first. I was pretty stressed considering I opted for sleep then get up earlier and thought my luggage would be denied., but luckily my airline called for the latecomers and my luggage was checked immediately upon arrival. Thank goodness.

Positives: I loved that they added the crib to our room in advance as we arrived late and had to leave very early in the morning. Very nice touch.

Negatives: Finding the shuttle to hotel at the airport was very confusing and getting the shuttle itself was problematic for me. Maybe describe shuttle to guest.

Classic hotel, very clean, stuff were very friend, you need anything they do right away. Nice location

The hotel is an older Marriott close to the airport and many restaurants, and easily accessible from Hwys 401 and 427. The beds, like most Marriotts are superb. The room was just average size, bathroom amenities are great. The bar on the main level charged over $20 for a double scotch Glenlevet (small double at that)- I found that excessive. Marriott charged $18/day for parking whereas I could park for free next door (short walk) at the Marriott Courtyard - go figure!. Plus $16/day for in-room Internet service (wired), but if you were patient and on a lower floor you could hook into their free wireless (lobby) in the room for free. It was iffy, but most days I managed to get a consistent connection. Didn't appreciate these excessive charges for a 4 star hotel.

Positives: Great beds, clean.

Negatives: Surcharges for parking and in-room Internet service; excessive rates for drinks at bar.

Not exactly four stars! More like 3 or 3.5 stars perhaps. Great location to airport. Bathrooms could use an update as could the carpeting. Parking expensive. Computers in business center were very high speed - but expensive. Food was very good at the restaurant and hotel staff were superb throughout my stay - front desk, maids, and wait staff. Just missing the little extras you would expect from a four star hotel - no apparent bell staff, valet - no bathrobes, etc. Much more like a very good 3 star or your run of the mill 3.5 star hotel. Perhaps a renovation would be in order.

Positives: Great staff - friendly and very helpful. Good food at the Bistro.

Negatives: Parking expensive. No bathrobes. No assistance with luggage to room.

The hotel was older, our particular room had a big stain on the carpet. The beds were very uncomfortable and they tried to mask the poor mattresses with pillow tops.

The front desk staff was very rude upon check-in and check-out. They had a real attitude problem and it did not suit the caliber of this hotel. When our credit card did not work on the swipe for incidentals she did not want to try it again but wanted cash, we checked our account, there was lots of money there, and nothing wrong with our card when we got gas shortly after that.

Positives: The room was very nice and the bed was great.

Negatives: The staff at the front desk was very abrupt.

Very clean rooms, very safe and secure hotel (parking and elevator require room key), very comfortable beds, soundproof: Never heard any planes regardless of proximity to major airport. Overall well worth the money.

Very nice hotel, beautiful room with a very comfy bed. Prompt service and the staff asked me upon arrival if I would like to store my golf clubs at the front desk. I was given a tag to use to retrieve them in the morning. Hotel provided a free shuttle to and from the airport. Location is less than 5 minutes from Pearson International.

Positives: Most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in.

Negatives: Everything was good.

Although this hotel is convenient to the YYZ airport and reasonably well appointed, I would advise people to avoid it unless they are part of a large, noisy crowd such as this hotel seemed populated with when I stayed there. Several calls to the front desk to plead for help did not quiet the halls despite promises of security intervention.

Positives: Well appointed room with comfortable bed.

Negatives: Couldn't sleep or enjoy the pool/hot tub/fitness facility due to large numbers of noisy youth and young adults all evening and through the night.

I liked the fact that this hotel offered me a room upgrade on check-in.

I have had very good experience with other Marriott hotels in the past, but this particular one was way below my expectations. The staff was not friendly at all.

Pros: Bed was super comfy! Room + furniture, etc. was very nice. Staff gave us a free room upgrade, provided us with a bar fridge upon request, hot tub, pool, fitness facilities were nice, well-kept, fitness equipment = top of the line (Life Fitness brands). Fitness room had 42 inch LCD TVs :). Cons: bathtub very small - we couldn't hook up our PS3 to the LCD TV in the room due to hotel software &ndash; we brought it because it has a lot of movies on the hard drive - we couldn't watch these movies, but the staff gave us a free movie to purchase on the hotel TV. No free Internet/wireless in room- &quot;Game Room&quot; in fitness/pool area seemed liked it was 'forgotten' for over 10-15 years LOL (it had arcade games from 1990).

Positives: Friendly staff, comfy bed, nice gym pool, and hot tub.

Negatives: Bathtub looked old and small.

Hotel is clean and upscale in look but room is no better than any 3-4 star. Only airport hotel that charges for parking with a stay just for overnight. I would not have booked if known of parking charges as price bid without parking too high.

The hotel was good quality for the price. Free shuttle service to and from the airport made it convenient for quick stopovers. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
