After visiting Grey Gables in December of 2010, my fiancé and I booked a large room for our wedding night and for the night/day before the wedding for the groom and groomsmen to get ready in. Our photographer was to take photos of the groomsmen getting ready in the room and on the property.
We liked the bed and breakfast so much we booked it immediately and notified our out of town photographer of the plans.
The owners contacted us tonight (April 25, 2011) to let us know that they have double booked the room and we can no longer have the requested dates. After asking if the other people could have their reservation taken away as this is a HUGE inconvenience and it was booked last year we were told no. They explained that the entire B&B is being rented by the other customers. Clearly because they will receive a better profit with the other guests we were dumped without sympathy.

Positives: Were able to tour the facilities in person prior to booking.

Negatives: They have no problem canceling without reason and will take a more profitable reservation without sympathy.
