Excellent location with access to subway and shopping mall. However, the relatively small hotel lobby crowded with guests waiting as well as various exits to streets and mall can be a maze for first time visitor.

The experience that we had at the hotel was satisfactory. We feel it would have been much better because the rate was fairly cheap compared to the quality. When we arrived at the front desk for our check in, the concierge seemed irritated to help us. He never asked us if we had a car (he asked the couple behind us as they checked in, We over heard this when we came downstairs to ask what our room was because we could not read his writing). He seemed very irritated when we told him one of my room keys were not working.

Positives: The atmosphere of the restaurant and overall theme of the rooms.

Negatives: Some front desk staff members seemed irritated by simple and undemanding questions.

Hotel was wonderful. Disappointed that hotel staff directed us to the pay for parking when there was free street parking for the hours that we were going to be there. I had asked about the free parking as it is stated on their website.

This is a great hotel if you want to stay in a great location, near the subway, near lots of great restaurants and with close by parking, either in the hotel or on the street or nearby. The hotel rooms vary in design upscalesness (eg, flat screen TV, tube TV, plain bathroom).

Positives: Great location, competent staff.

Negatives: There are different types of room, but there is no definition of these differences.

Good hotel, clean and comfortable, nice large rooms and large bathrooms. Excellent location with easy subway access to downtown. Only two (minor) things that I didn't like: room windows cannot open, and breakfast food, although filling and fresh, was not quite healthy (no veggies, no fresh fruit, just canned sugared fruit, excellent breads though), but those issues will not stop me from coming here again and again.

Positives: Location, cleanliness, comfort.

Negatives: Breakfast food - rather unhealthy choices, no vegetables, no fresh fruit, just canned.

I will never stay here again. I expected much more from a Novotel. Sofa bed was a standard fold up mattress built into a home made box it was very uncomfortable chair was small and uncomfortable. We stole furniture from the lobby so we had some where to sit. Pool was cold, small and dirty.

Negatives: Furnishings were very uncomfortable.

Microwave are not available and not provided for families with babies to warm milk. Basic level of functionality. Room size barely fit the 2 double beds. No free parking, need to pay $15/night or use public parking across the street at a lesser fee.

I did not stay in the hotel. Went to view hotel and area and it was totally unsuitable for my needs. The safety of the area in which this hotel is located is questionable. I definitely would not take a family.

Great hotel room. Was hoping for a place that took our small dog, and this place accepted all 3 of us with grace. Contemporary room setup, well lit, spectacularly clean, lots of room, sofa which opened to two additional beds.

Positives: Accommodated our pet incredibly! No charge + freebies.

Negatives: Nothing.
